How much is the Spanish course?

All the courses are online and cost $265 for 10 classes of one hour each plus all the material. The Demo class is free and can be scheduled in the website.

No. The Language School is very small and so the only languages offered at the moment are Italian - all levels - and Spanish - all levels.

Lincoln can speak a bunch of different languages and makes the class really fun and easy to learn. He teaches with strict grammar, so he's ensuring that we are learning properly. I learn best with hands-on methods, so in-person classes work best for me. The classes at AIL are in-person, with the option to join virtually, if necessary. The class materials can all be found in the ortal, which has proven to be a very helpful resource. I absolutely recommend Atlanta Language Institute if you learn well in-person. They offer many languages, too!

Each student is challenged to their own ability level, but in a way that is beneficial for the entire class. They take a practical approach to teaching + learning where all the prompts, responses, and casual conversations that are naturally spoken throughout the class, are both typed and recorded so we're able to listen and/or watch the videos to review, as well as print or save the .pdf of notes. This genuine environment has created classes of students that are dedicated to learning and supporting one another and have a lot of fun in doing so! I encourage you to contact them and try out a class since you're reading this review!

I will start off by saying that while I had read the previous reviews, I decided to go with this…read moreschool. The communication between the director and I was positive and she was very responsive to questions, et al. I was trying to do something very difficult: take Arabic immersion - 8 hours per day - for 5 days straight. We all knew it would be a tall order. But I was motivated. I showed up on the first day and everyone was there (the director, Amber, and the instructor). They had materials ready for me and a place to learn. My instructor was from Syria and was very professional. After about 6 hours, my brain was leaking out of my ears. And that's how the rest of the week went. My instructor was very patient and adjusted her teaching content based on my needs. I went in with zero proficiency and my goal was to score on the charts for a federal language proficiency test. Again - we all knew it was a tall order. The test consists of listening and reading. As a result of the class, I was able to score what I needed on the exam. For the people who bash the school - I would say to remember that you are dealing with humans and they make mistakes. Flexibility in learning languages extends to flexibility with the instructors. I understand frustrations - but it's all what you put into the system. I found Amber and the others who work there to be up front with customers. And believe me - they aren't in the job for the money. Overall I was very happy with the level of instruction I received. I would definitely use their devices again.

I consider that kindness and respect are two very important aspects of life and specially in this matter. It can make a huge difference. So when it comes to my education, I have always liked to be surrounded of people who can show a true and genuine interest on maintaining these two important characteristics: kindness and respect. TALK has blown me away! Because they not only have these two characteristics, they go beyond! The staff is truly authentic! They always have a huge smile for you. They would always try to help you by either answering even the smallest questions or helping you with other important stuff. You get the felling that are among friends or family. Allison is a wonderful director, she is the kind of person who has a amazing attitude towards students. She is kind, funny, reachable and very respectful. Ally is very sweet, prompt and attentive. I don't know how they do but they always seem to be happy! And when you come at school early in the morning that energy sticks with you! The teachers have a great style in teaching English. They would encourage you to participate, work hard, try your best, correct you, make you speak and show a big concern for you to improve. All teachers are very nice and well prepared! My experience had been nothing but just amazing! I also like the fact that the location of the school is beautiful. You have the best of Atlanta just next to you! I just love it!

I found this school online and I contacted the director to know more about the services they provided. Since the first conversation we had on the phone, he was very friendly and helpful. He never seemed to promise me anything fake to market himself or the school, and I never felt pushed to "close the deal". He asked me a bunch of questions regarding when, where, and the time of the day I wanted to study and he ended up making sure I got all my preferences. On my first day of classes everyone I met at the school was smiling and the staff already knew my name, which made me feel extremely welcome. My teacher was always very knowledgeable and she clearly had lots of experience teaching. The classes felt "easy to follow" and I thought they were productive. Lastly, the school location was convenient and the prices were fair. Overall, I would say I had a great experience as a student at The Language Island!

Teachers assess each student on a case-by-case basis and develop a curriculum that is custom-tailored to his or her individual needs. We provide a variety of class options designed to accommodate students of all ages and backgrounds. My teacher (Alejandro Pelaez) was very detailed in his explanations and gave us plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. I then moved on to the one on one tutoring which helped me understand the complexities of the language. I still have a long way to go until fluency but The Latin American Association really laid a great framework for me to learn Spanish. The programs were great and all the staff was very helpful. The prices for 1 on 1 tutoring were a little too much for the average worker in my opinion thats why i gave 4 instead of 5 stars. If they decrease the price i know they will quickly obtain more students. Overall i loved my experience and will take another 1 on 1 tutoring in the near future. *** PS: for anyone trying to learn a language there is no one program or class that will get you to fluency. I was successful in my classes because i immersed myself in the language as much as possible outside of class (apps, spanish radio/tv everyday, etc.) The Latin American Association helped bring it all together and was a valuable resource in learning the grammatical ways of the language. As long as you are dedicated to language learning you will learn as quickly and as much as you want !!!
