Got mango pineapple acai bowl. Pineapple was out of a can. Mango wasn't fresh. Clearly, bowls aren't their thing.

I got the carmella latte and the Oak Island acai bowl, and both were incredible! My mom got a normal hot coffee with caramel and she said it's one of the best brews she's had. The staff are all so sweet and it's such a cozy atmosphere. Menu options are added :)

I stopped by to get a latte. The shop itself is very cute and there are a lot of drink options. I ordered a vanilla latte with oak milk. Unfortunately I didn't really care for my drink. It tasted very watered down and I barely tasted the vanilla flavor.

I come here all the time when I visit and the owner is always there to greet us with a smile. Theyre very quick and even though there was a line out the door, I waited maybe 5 minutes? I got the Oak Island bowl and iced latte and it was delicious. I wish the bowl had more smoothie in the bottom, but it had lots of fruit. The coffee is always good.

like the name....its ok. really just needs to make the breakfast sandwiches better to hit that next lvl. Egg was mid and bacon was burnt to a crisp so wasn't the biggest fan. will come back for coffee to see if this improves the score. read more

Been coming here for a few years and have enjoyed the coffee and the açaí bowls each year. My only complaint is that it can be a bit slower than expected when they're busy, but being a small local shop, I definitely don't mind waiting to support. Everyone is always friendly and their variety is great. Recommend 100% read more

Good coffee spot and one of few options so expect high pricing. Reason that I'm going with three stars is due to the açai bowls. My experience was slow. It took over 10 minutes and the girl came out saying they had forgotten about my bowl, or it got lost in the shuffle of Orders , and they were making another one. Once I receive the bowl, it was pretty much 80% toppings and 20% açai. For $13 I would've expected acia bowl to have a strong content of actual açai. read more

One thing that I can say about OKI coffee is that there's always a friendly smile taking your order. It's a hotspot in the summer and who doesn't want baklava with their coffee. Definitely go and check them out. read more

We ordered iced mochas. This coffee is just not good. It's watery with no flavor and has gross chocolate syrup in it. We are so disappointed! It was also $17 (SEVENTEEN!!!) dollars for TWO iced coffees!!! We are from NY and still find this price outrageous, especially for the poor quality and lack of flavor. I do not recommend this coffee. **Service was friendly. read more

This is probably the worst coffee I've had in a really really long time. Reviews were good and line was long so I assumed it was going to be good. Waited over 30 minutes for 2 iced lattes, waiting area is very very tight with both a line to order and to get your drinks/foods. Paid $18 for 2 drinks (Livin La Vida and the White Lightning) and they both tasted like dirty water... will absolutely not be back. Instead go to Big Pups Coffee trailer down the road - much better value and taste. read more

Love the coffees EVERY SINGLE TIME! Amazing choices and options from teas to coffees. Ordered my first and last breakfast sandwich today. It came out I took a bite and first noticed the bagel was untoasted, then got another bite, completely uncooked everything. 10000% recommend this place for drinks, not sure about the food, may give it one more chance. read more

Came in on a busy morning, only two people were working. The line was moving so slow and to add insult to injury people kept having to send orders back because they were wrong. Coffee was flavorless & bagels tasted frozen. Just go somewhere else. read more

Their food/coffee is so delicious, I haven't had a nicely made cup of coffee in a long time. Plus their prices are just perfect, not over paying like the "other" place. We all know what I mean... their service was respectful and on point, went. In at their busy hour it seemed, and they were just so friendly and kind. The ambiance is nice calm with a touch of brightness from the windows to help wake you right up. Truly appreciated my visit. read more

I was so excited to see a coffee house on Oak Island open past Noon. As someone that has visited OKI for a very long time, this has been something that has been needed for a long time. Great coffee, good prices and friendly service. I visited three times during my week visit. I also visited the ice cream connected to it and can't wait for the Mediterranean restaurant to open soon. read more

Apparently this place only opened a few weeks ago but they seem to be doing well with a steady stream of customers flowing in and out of the shop. There is a wide variety of creative hot and cold coffee combinations drinks to chose from. There is also a wide variety of locally sourced bagels but they are a bit pricey. The store is small which means very limited seating. It would be beneficial if they removed the area rug and put in more seating. Staff are very friendly, helpful and competent. They offer a loyalty program whereby every 6th drink you get a freebie. read more

Great little place. Had great coffee and their acai bowls are great. I do think the base is frozen unsure if they make or not but still good. The oak island bowl without honey add Nutella is really good. While they have food definitely seems to take awhile when you order any food other than pastries. Service is friendly and definitely would recommend. read more

I had the best frappe I've ever had! It was a perfect blend and so smooth. I also was extremely delighted to see za'atar cheeee bread. It was the best thing I've had in eight years since moving back from the Middle East. It was so good my whole family is coming back to get some! read more

Not a coffee house. I ordered a latte 3 days in a row and it never once came with espresso. They just poured a refrigerated iced coffee into a cup with flavoring. Not recommended. read more

Then I ordered my drink with two flavors and cold foam. When they gave me my drink it didn't have cold foam and I said "I'm so sorry I requested cold foam" and the baristas snapped at me "no you didn't" then I looked confused and they said "well you didn't pay for it." The cold foam is a 75 cent up charge which I would have happily paid but they rang me up wrong then embarrassed me in front of the rest of the customers. I will NOT be back.

Parking can be a challenge, but that's pretty common everywhere on Oak Island, so we didn't hold that against them. What we especially appreciated was how family-friendly it felt. We had a baby with us, and the atmosphere was welcoming and accommodating for families with little ones. It made for an easy and enjoyable breakfast stop. Great food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Just plan for a little extra time if you're visiting during the morning rush. We'd absolutely come back!

The two scoops didn't even breech the top of the lid of the cup. I could have gotten more ice cream, that tasted the same, for less at somewhere like Dairy Queen. The only reason it has 2 stars instead of 1 is because the small amount of ice cream I did receive was decent.

This is the worst coffee shop I've ever been to. My boyfriend and I started by ordering 2 small iced lattes. They told us they "only have large cups" so we paid $15... they bring the first drink out in a small cup, so they lied about the sizing to get us to pay more. We ask them to change it to what we paid for. The second coffee comes out and it's a cup of milk and syrup. Tasted TERRIBLE. Asked them to remake it and it was the same thing with added espresso. Can't even drink it now, it's like diabetes in a cup. read more

Such a friendly place and great coffee and bagels! Pet friendly and wonderful people. It's in a great location and has a nice little gift shop inside. I needed a place to work remotely for a few hours and after a very unpleasant experience with another shop down the street, I was welcomed into OKI Coffee House and completed my work while I enjoyed a nice breakfast and delicious coffee. This will be my new spot when I am here visiting. read more

I visited this morning and ordered a bagel, but it was burnt and made with the wrong toppings. When I asked for a replacement, I was rudely told I would need to either keep the bagel or buy a new one. Overall, I had a terrible experience and would not recommend this place. read more

Best coffee house on the island! I've been coming to Oak Island for 22 years and so thankful they open this shop! Amazing coffee, anything can be frozen and amazing flavors. Will be back the rest of this trip and next year! read more

Tried the iced coffee. It was average. The ice melted too quickly. The place has a nice vibe. Prices are reasonable.
