Stopped in to Okeah for the one night we stayed in Fajardo. We had just traveled all day and were starving by the time we got there. Okeah delivered with delicious food and nice cold drinks. We started off with the snapper ceviche. You could taste the freshness in the snapper and had delicious flavor. My boyfriend ordered the personal paella. It was packed with so much flavor and seafood variations. I was just craving regular rice and beans with pana tostones and they had ALL of these options on the menu. You could taste the freshness in the beans and could tell they were cooked authentically. Definitely hit the spot for what we were craving our first night in PR! Not to mention the gorgeous view of the ocean while dining!

Nestled between Las Croabas and Fajardo, Okeah was one of the few restaurants open on Tuesday night in the area for me on our January vacation, and most places seemed only to be open starting Thursday. While it's better to make a reservation just to ensure you get a seat you want, we were able to walk in at 7:30 and sat inside. The server was very attentive and gave us many good recommendations. All in all, I probably would have given the place a 4.5 as opposed to a 5, but part of that is just due to personal taste. I found the steak to be a bit more chewy than I usually like and the vegetables were a tad undersalted. However, the seasoning and flavoring of both the meat and ceviche were great and the restaurant's atmosphere was both cozy and a bit swanky - great for a date night. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

This is such a solid place. Its got a very comfortable, slightly upscale, vibe. I had a reservation for 6pm. I arrived at 5:45pm. I was seated within a few minutes. The staff are professional and our server was very good. The food tastes fresh and not over seasoned. Some may say bland. However, when you have quality ingredients, you don't need much to make it taste good. We started with a dozen oysters that had a very slight spice with bits of chopped mango. my guy had the lobster bisque and I had the tuna tartare. Both were good. For our entrees He had the paella, and I had the Pork Ossobuco in a guava sauce. Both were really good. I got the Mofongo for a side. I wish that the dish came with a bit more sauce. The bill came out to $150 plus tip. I thought it was worth it. We did not order drinks, but they all looked amazing as the servers walked by with them. I will definitely be coming back.

The view is beautiful and the food is excellent. I had the shrimp in cilantro and garlic cream sauce with Parmesan cream sauce. It was excellent but if I had to order again, the mushroom and bacon risotto was so good. The service was excellent. I'd definitely recommend and come here again.

Outstanding, our last night in PR , yelp never disappoints in finding great food. We overloaded on local food and found something a little different from the norm. Definitely would love to try some other dishes. Meaning I would love to come back.

We had the most wonderful first experience here, all thanks to Alondra. From the moment we sat down, she was kind, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu. She helped my boyfriend and me pick incredible dishes and made the whole evening feel special and effortless. Her positive energy is unmatched--we would come back again and again just for her. 10/10 recommend !!

This restaurant was fantastic in every way! It was so good my family and I had to come twice in 3 days! They were extremely hospitable and even on short notice found a way to fit my family of 11 despite us coming on a busy day. The food is fantastic and exactly what we would want while on vacation. Our server Josue was PHENOMENAL and give him extreme credit for us enjoying this restaurant as much as we did. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Puerto Rico!

The food and service were excellent. What a nice surprise. Great view and nice ambiance. Robert was our waiter and all of his suggestions were on point.

The food was spectacular! Vilmary was our server and she was so kind and attentive! You should definitely dine here if you are in this area!

SUPER good food and vibe the views as well, our waitress was very nice however didn't know English that well. We got over the language barrier and had an amazing time. I highly recommend especially if you are staying at El Conquistador!

It was a little loud in the restaurant because they were have a karaoke event upstairs which sounded fun! For food, we ordered the calamari, grilled mahi mahi, and grilled swordfish. The calamari was not good! Tasted like it came straight from the grocery store freezer section. The sauce it came with didn't taste like anything. The grilled mahi mahi was okay. The coconut rice was really tasty and the fish was cooked well although it could have used more sauce and salt. The swordfish was also good. Nice grilled flavor and tasty white sauce. The fish itself was tough and seemed slightly overcooked. I'd come back for some drinks on the rooftop but definitely not dinner

My wife and I decided to go with bushwackers. They make good bushwackers here. My son let me take a bite out of the pastelillo (empanada) stuffed with beef, cheese, and sweet plantains. It was packed with meat. Tasty. I was in the mood for a burger and got the Bacon Jam burger; my wife ordered the fish tacos. The Bacon Jam burger is a smash burger with two patties, bacon jam, cheese aioli, and chopped caramelized onions. I liked it. It hit the spot and was filling. I would have liked it better if it had more bacon jam so eat bite would have a hit of sweetness. I got it with a side of tostones, which were nice a crispy. The fish tacos were also pretty good. I don't know how it gets in the evening or if it's usually quiet for lunch but it was nice and relaxing.

I normally don't write long reviews, but this experience needed to be shared. My partner and I…read moretraveled from New York to Puerto Rico to visit his family for Thanksgiving week, and we decided to take his parents, siblings, and nephew out for a nice pre-Thanksgiving dinner. We saw Kalizo , thought it looked upscale and promising, and chose it for what was supposed to be a special family night. Instead, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was disrespectful and careless. We were a party of six, and the host simply pointed to a section and told us to "sit over there" -- no greeting, no walk-through. He dropped the menus on the table and walked away. We sat for over 20 minutes with no one approaching us for drinks or orders. We had to stop multiple staff members just to ask, "Can we please get a waiter?" Each time we were told someone was coming, but no one did. When the waiter finally showed up, he acted rushed, uninterested, and dismissive. He kept telling us that several items we wanted were "not available," rushing us to pick something else. I ended up ordering something quick because I honestly didn't know if he'd ever come back. Meanwhile, there were only about three other tables occupied, and we noticed something very uncomfortable: The English-speaking white customers were getting A1 treatment -- constant refills, servers checking in on them, drinks delivered correctly, food synchronized -- everything. Our table, where we were mostly speaking Spanish with my partner's family, was basically ignored. Our drinks came out wrong. Refills took three or more requests. Food came out one plate at a time, so half the table was done eating before the rest of us even received our meals. My plate was missing the sides and sauces it came with. I had to physically get up and find someone to ask for them. At one point, after asking three times for a Sprite refill, I just stood up and went straight to someone and said, "Can you please just bring me a Sprite can, a to-go box, and the check?" because I had enough. The food itself? Not good. Definitely not worth the price. And the service? Terrible. A woman who worked there quietly apologized to us and said she saw everything happening, but she couldn't intervene because she wasn't a server. That says enough about the environment. Overall, it felt like we were treated differently simply because they assumed we were locals or because we were speaking Spanish. Meanwhile, the tables of English-speaking tourists got excellent service. What was supposed to be a nice family dinner turned into a frustrating, embarrassing, and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place, especially if you're expecting fair service or celebrating something special.
