    Also under Jim's Auto. Gave us a good deal on tires. Service was great with Manager Mr. John.

I had a strict timeline for getting my car road worthy since I was planning a big road trip shortly after acquiring it, which they were able to meet however I did have an issue with one of the repairs while I was away in the US. After calling Jim's in a panic they assured me their work and parts did have a warrantee and there wouldn't be any out of pocket expense to me to get the car repaired again. The crew at Jim's especially Steph went above and beyond and would call the mechanic in the states to get updates on my car because he yelled at me every time I called him, and then handled payment for everything to fix the problem. As a side note I also purchased tires from the OK Tire next door to Jim's which they made very easy to do and were able to do to help get everything done on time for me at a better price than Fountain Tire in New Sudbury offered me. Really appreciate Steph getting yelled at on my behalf and doing everything to remedy the issue for me!

    I bought my truck in September of 2020. Since Ive owned the truck as well as 2 other vehicles and…read morei had recommended a family member go to CopperCliff Garage. Eric's customer service, attention to detail and skills and knowledge under the hood were his top game. I always felt treated well and fairly charged for services, until 2022. In 2022 some the customer service started to decline, however seemed to be fair in costs and somewhat fair timelines to have work done on vehicle. One thing i noticed was that with oil changes the milage marked on reminder was not consistent for next oil change. Last fall was the biggest difference 10000 km ... this was the longest milage recorded ever between oil changes. Then 2023 started. I contacted and spoke with Eric to have an tire switch, a light that had returned on dash, and the possibility of warranty still being available for that light that was just changed with in the yr. Eric said his soonest opening for an appointment was in 2 weeks. I explained my work schedule to him only leaving me a few hrs in a day from late morning to early afternoon. He advised he would need the truck first think in the morning in order to accomodate me picking up by afternoon. I said no problem i will drop off night before. 2 weeks later, waiting for a call but nothing. Around 12 oclock I call because i only have until 1 pm that i can come in to pay for and pick up truck on a friday. 1st. Eric is not available. 2nd the woman had no idea what i was talking about. 3. She stated that she had two other women as walk ins that morning. When i said i had an appointment made 2 weeks ago, she just said she didnt know what to tell me. I finally was able to speak with Eric that afternoon. Who had said he had a family emergency about a forgotten appointment. I said i explained to you my availability for to pay for and pick up truck. He said does not make appointments and how is he supposed to remember every conversatiom with every customer especially from two weeks ago? He advised it was not the same part that may have been under warranty, that he had scanned the truck and shut off check engine light. But it would most likely come back on as the truck would require a smoke test. Not being able to go pick it up before closing i provided him with a credit card over the phone and asked he keep spare key if it could not be locked in truck with bill. When i picked up truck that evening. The check engine light was still on. I finally had the chance the end of the following week to stop amd pick up keys and bill. He was very rude on phone. And when i got to shop i was asking another mechanic when he had time if he could price something out for me that Eric had recommended and Eric came flying into office stating he has other things to have done that day to call another time for my questions. I was so taken back i just responded 'take care Eric' and walked out. Only to discover you CAN lock keys in vehicle. I was charged 40.00 to shut off a light that was never shut off. Which has been shut off and stayed off at another garage since. And sometimes appointments do matter there, depending on the customer. I hope you can find your customer service and work ethics again soon Eric! I nor my family will be bringing a vehicle there again. And i no longer recommend this garage.
