2016 Ford 6.7 1 ton went in for tires replacement, and to replace two "faulty" tire pressure sensors. Aftermarket sensors are the replacement. Mechanic could not get the sensors to respond to the truck. Tried numerous times to link the aftermarket sensors to the truck computer, with no success, as a result truck is currently now not running. My wife and I own 1 vehicle only, with my wife and kid now stuck. Thanks!!! read more

I highly recommended OK Tire in Squamish. Really amazing staff and workers. My SUV has a flat tire and needs patching to repair the puncture. I called most of the businesses that can help me fix my tire but all are fully booked. Out of despair, I went to Ok Tire hoping they can help me. And they are fully booked too, but didn't hesitate to help! I had to leave my vehicle for 6 hours which is not a big deal rather than not having a car at all. Thank you OK tire. I was my way to Vancouver on a Saturday morning when one of my winter tires blew. I headed to OK Tire and was greeted warmly and attended to quickly. They had a used winter tire on hand and mounted and installed it within 30 minutes of my arrival. I was so appreciative that they fit me in!! $66 later my tire was replaced and I continued on with my trip to Vancouver! I cannot recommend OK Tire enough!! I was in Squamish doing some shopping and notice when I was leaving back home to whistler my tire started to have a bad vibration coming from it. I went to Walmart to ask about same day service and they told me that they were booked all week. So I went to OK Tire just next door and they said they could fit me in at 5pm. That was a couple hours wait. So I called my local tire shop down the street from me in Whistler and they were also booked for two weeks. So I went back to OK Tire and the lady was super nice saying that some of her bookings were done already and that they could fit me in right away. Within a half hour they pulled a screw out of my tire, plugged it, sanded down my rim where it was leaking badly and resealed it and balanced my rim. Cost $28 for a speedy repair considering all my other options would take over 1 week. Service was excellent, the lady at the counter was very nice and the man who helped me in the shop answered all my questions and gave me some tips for next time. Very good experience. I will go back for all future tire services. read more

Greedy just like the rest of them. They charged me $120 cash to splice in a 20 inch chunk of 2 1/4 straight pipe (that started leaking and fell off within two weeks) and wanted to charge me another hour to replace one u joint that takes about 10 minutes to change. These days when you want something done right you pretty much have to do it yourself. read more

These guys saved me close to $1,000 by welding a loose pipe fitting instead of charging to replace an otherwise perfectly fine catalytic converter, which is what the dealer wanted to do. It's so nice to do business with people who really know their stuff. Best off all, if they say something will take 45 minutes, it takes 45 minutes. If they say 90 minutes, then 90 it is! read more

The most frustrating experience I have had. I called and made an appointment to have my tires changed, and told them that the brakes were over due and making noise and need to be changed. When I arrived for the appointment they told me that this appointment was only to check the brakes, and they didn't even have the tires in stock, they will order them. Asked about what would be good all weather tires as I have brand new winter tires on the vehicle. She quoted a couple of tires and brands, and I told her I know nothing about tires and what is good, and she repeated that they were 'mns' and I didn't readily understand what she meant at the time and asked what's that, to which she looked at me with a snarky look like I was clueless and said 'Mountain and Snow?!' I said I just need something for the summer months as I have brand new winter tires, and she said well that is what you need. I don't need to get a bunch of attitude because I don't immediately recognize a tire industry term. Meanwhile, there are people in the store looking at me like I am the one with the problem because of how she is treating me. After that she told me that she won't be able to fix the brakes today. In other words I just wasted the morning coming down to find out they were going to spend an hour to 'check' the brakes. When I explained to the lady behind the counter that I don't have time to come down for 3 separate appointments as I travel a lot for work, she looked at me like I was crazy and told me that this is 'summer tire time' and they are swamped, but they can book me in late next week to fix the brakes, but I would have to make another appointment for the tires. I asked if I left the car over night if they could do all of the servicing in one visit, again she reminded me this is 'summer tire time' and they were fully booked and began taking the tag off of my keys, when she saw that I noticed her fumbling with the tag she asked; 'Do you want to speak with the manager?'. I told her I want to have my vehicle fixed as I had made an appointment, she replied by saying it wasn't going to happen as it is 'summer tire time', and she can give me a quote to go price shop around. I told her not to bother, and just give me my keys back. I drove across the street to Diamond Head Motors. I literally could not park on the property as they were so busy with cars coming in and out, and the lot was packed. So I parked on the street. Went inside and was immediately greeted by two people, one of which was a mechanic. I told him what was going on, and he said they were very busy but could check on it in a couple of minutes. I waited, and sure enough he came out, looked under the vehicle, drove it 10 feet and said, yup, need new rear brakes and probably rotors (OK Tire needed to book an appointment for an hour to tell me that). Brought me back in and another service member booked me for an appointment in just 3 days! They will do all the work in the same appointment; put new brakes, rotors and tires on. So, I booked an appointment for next week to bring my wife's vehicle in as well and to order new tires for her car. Even though they were clearly swamped, they were still so helpful, and so friendly and right across the street. If you get the brush off at OK Tires, just head across the street to Diamond Head Motors, very friendly and helpful. I told them about the rude and bad experience I just had at OK Tires, and they defended OK Tires and said they have the nicest people over there and I must have caught them on a bad day. Diamond Head Motors is a real class act and very reputable. PS- They also happily explained the tires to me without giving me attitude because I didn't understand some tire industry terms. read more
