That's not a terrible price so I tried it out. Get in and it's only "semi synthetic", i think that's false advertising. Anyways, two cars ahead of me, so I wait in the waiting room. The owners of both of those cars got called into the shop, to be up sold. They had their cars finished and were off. Then my turn. They tried to tell me my car needed to have the coolant and power steering fluid flushed. It would be $90 for each one, plus the oil change. I told them I would go to MY mechanic for a second opinion. At which point I got "tell ya what. You do the two services and I won't charge you for the oil chamge." Told him no thanks and was off with just an oil change. Anyway, I've now been to my mechanic, who could have easily just said "ya you need these services" and I would have paid him to do it. But he told me it was unnecessary and that if I did flush them out it would do little to nothing for any problems I might have. These companies make almost no money off an oil change. Only a few bux profit for one. That's why they up sell like crazy. I seen him tell four people including me that they needed more. Watch out for places like this. Also watch the fifth estate, they just did a special on economy lube. PEACE!

Fraudulent Service, Beware…read more Their representative Rizwan falsely claimed that I needed transmission oil change when it had already been done less than a year ago. He showed me the color and said it is black and needs to be immediately replaced. Once I arrived home and checked my vehicle service record, I contacted Evan (store supervisor). He said he would check with Tony, area manager, and get back to me. Evan after checking with Tony called me and agreed for the refund once I send the invoice showing the previous transmission oil change. I sent it to him immediately only to receive a call next day from Tony saying that they will offer me a 50% store credit while acknowledging they had spoken to the employee about him making a sale pitch falsely by showing the color of the transmission oil which is not correct. I declined the 50% store credit and told him to do the right thing and honor what Evan already agreed to. He declined to do so and now has taken the stance of no credit after I told him I will take Mr. Lube to small claims court and report him to the media for fraudulent practices.

The don't mess around they don't give the hard up sale. Now that's importantly to Mr big time. This is my third time here and I trust them to do all the fluids and now my undercoating. I feel this is the perfect example of a large franchise. Good on you guys for keeping a very picky customer happy. So there you have the Real Deal on this Mr Lube. The attendant who approached us was friendly, and gave him a chance to explain the situation, asking if it were possible to have it repaired.
