We used to eat here years ago but then never seemed to be here at meal time until tonight. We both had cheese enchiladas & they were delicious. We are going to have to plan our trips so we come through here at meal time so we can eat here again. Food & service were both really good. read more

Great food the fajitas are awesome and reasonably priced. My favorite is the bacon chili cheese burger. Yum only thing is the hours really get to me. I always Hungary when they are closed. But thankfully I only have 30 minutes till they reopen at 5pm! Menard has the weirdest hours I cant figure it out. Great owner and great service! read more

First, there is a large sign on the front door when you enter, so these complaints about not knowing their payment policy are a bit puzzling. That said, this was my first visit and I wasn't disappointed. Got the Mexican plate. Good value!!! I've had the privileged of stopping into Ojeda's a couple of times. I end up getting their hamburger steak (can't quite remember the name). The hamburger meat is probably the best seasoned I have ever had and the jalapenos are a plus. Beware though, this place does not accept card. So I stopped here on my way to Fort McKavett and I'm really glad I did, becaus this place is amazing! The food was fantastic! Great carne guisada and tortillas! Service was great too and the waitress was very kind, offering good recommendations. The place is very clean and well maintained by the staff. It's out on the very edge of town, so you have to drive a bit past downtown to find it. But worth it once you do. And it's a great value for the amount of good food you get! Wow. Passed through Menard on a road trip and Ojeda's did not disappoint! The service could not have been more friendly or efficient. And the food was awesome! We powered through three servings of chips and hot sauce while we waited for our food (and the kind waitresses never even judged our gluttony ). I had the beef fajita quesadilla that came with strips of steak so thick I had to use a fork and knife! And, it was served with a scoop of delicious guacamole. My husband and son had beef enchiladas and they both cleaned their plates. My daughter had beef, bean and cheese nachos which she declared were "really great!" Then we were not looked at again. Waitress refilled drinks for other tables and never looked our way or came back. I got fed up and got up and took the cup to her as she passed me and I still had to say "excuse me". She refilled my sons drink finally but I was already upset. It's a little place and it wasn't even busy. Oh, and expect your waitress to be your cashier as well. That is very tacky. I had my husband pay while we stayed at the table. I tip good but only if you do your job right. I have manners and I am not going to give you the lousy tip you deserve in front of your face. I ate the whole thing because it was so very good. My husband had 3 chicken enchiladas covered in a super good cheese sauce, salad, refried beans and rice for $7.99. Our waitress, Mary Ann, was friendly and informative. We managed to arrive at a very busy time so there was a bit of a wait but well worth waiting for. Driving from CA for almost 22 hrs. Tired and hungry, we stopped here for dinner tonight at 8:30, as this cafe seemed to have been the only one in town. Wow! Tasty, tasty, food. Super friendly staff. Food was wonderful! They didn't have queso, but that's ok-if they did we would have missed out on the guacamole! And it was delicious! The kids had cheese nachos and they were seriously some of of the best ever...I think they use some secret flavoring or salt.
