From Kansas City to Orlando Daddy Ninja Was Worth the Hype!…read more Well, when you have an amazing social media presence, catchy videos, and food that looks absolutely irresistible, that's how you convince someone from Kansas City to add your restaurant to their must-visit list for a trip to Orlando! That's exactly how I ended up at Daddy Ninja! I called my best friend and asked him to join me for dinner, and let me tell you, this place did not disappoint! We started the evening with a passion fruit sangria, which was absolutely delicious! Then came a couple of appetizers, and that was the perfect decision to start waking up our palates for the incredible explosion of flavors that was coming. Then we moved on to the REAL DEAL: Sushi Aplatanao! We ordered SEVEN different rolls, including El Cibao, Daddy Ninja, Puerto Rico Está, and several others. And I can confidently say that every single one was AMAZING! This is definitely not your traditional Japanese sushi experience, and that's exactly what makes it so special. Each roll was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with bold, unique flavors. The fusion of Caribbean influences with sushi creates something truly memorable. Every bite brought something different to the table! But what impressed me wasn't just the food. The concept is fantastic! The restaurant has beautiful décor, a thoughtfully designed atmosphere, and a personality that perfectly complements the creativity of its menu. The staff was also incredibly attentive. Throughout our visit, I noticed how everyone was constantly moving, checking on tables, and making sure the experience lived up to the expectations the brand has created. As someone who appreciates both great food and great customer service, that attention to detail really stood out. And here's what I loved most: Daddy Ninja knows how to create excitement online, but more importantly, they deliver on that excitement in person! That's not always easy to accomplish. From the drinks to the appetizers, the sushi, the atmosphere, and the service, this was an experience worth sharing. Would I come back? ABSOLUTELY! Next time I'm in Orlando, Daddy Ninja will definitely be on my list again. If you're in Orlando or planning a visit, do yourself a favor and check them out. Come hungry, bring friends, order a variety of rolls, and enjoy the experience! Daddy Ninja, you earned a fan from Kansas City!

This tiny sushi bar is one of four venues in Kissimmee's City Centre. It shares its space and menu…read morewith the adjacent 3 Sisters Speakeasy, a sports bar; next door is Vintage Vino, a wine bar; and at the end of City Centre is Chef John's Dockside Inn. We actually didn't sit down inside Chef Ha's. Instead, we were at a table just inside 3 Sisters Speakeasy. However, given the layout, we really felt like we were guests of both establishments. We ordered the 3 Sisters roll (crispy tempura battered shrimp accompanied by a refreshing cucumber topped with slices of steamed shrimp), and we really loved it. All in all, I would definitely recommend this sushi bar. I'm excited to return and try some of their other offerings (here's their menu http://3sistersspeakeasy.com/sushi-bar.html). And when we are ready to sample other fare, we have a sports bar to one side and a wine bar to the other!

The shrimp was crisp and flaky, cucumber fresh, spicy tuna mild and gentle, eel sauce sweet. Sounds muted? It was. I must commend the restauranteur for taking his clientele into consideration. This is a sushi bar attached to a pub type restaurant. While I hesitate to say that no sushi connoisseur is going to pull up a chair at the bar, the flavors have a wide appeal. Even going through the entire sushi menu, it shows simplicity and less complication. A perfect place for that one person in the group who wants sushi, or to try sushi for the first time, with the option of getting familiar food just in case the experience does not work out. Great idea.

Fantastic all around. The Temaki was HUGE and filling on its own. I am a purist and salmon lover,…read moreso I wanted to keep it simple. I ordered the chili temaki, which was cubed salmon & tuna tossed in an extremely light mayo (can't taste it) and togarashi. It had a slight zing, perfect for spice lovers like myself & those who'd like to try spice but know they can't handle too much. The salmon special roll was classically delicious and refreshing topped with a dollop of kewpie mayo and scallion. I also tried the philly temaki to-go, which used raw salmon instead of the usual smoked and it was appreciated. You truly can't go wrong with their Temakis. I would definitely try a different roll next time or one of the combo sets because they have so many cool options. Besides the food being top notch (obrigado Chef Lucas), the service was also noteworthy. Ana and Gabriel were great. I learned that Gabriel was finishing his last week at Touken when I visited--I came to Touken originally because of all the great service reviews about Gabe, so Touken is definitely losing a valuable asset with Gabe's departure. However, the rest of the team is fantastic and offer a pleasant dining atmosphere. Next time I'm in Orlando, Touken will definitely have to be a pit stop.
