I was able to get in within 5 minutes and out within 15 minutes with no appointment. They have you wait in the car or out so you can know that they actually changed your oil if you wanted to. Justin was great. Did his job well and efficient. They also didn't try to upsell anything like other places do (air filter etc). I will be returning to this spot. read more

I usually go to my dealer, but they're all on strike, so I googled and got Oil Express. I was little nervous about going to these quick oil change places, but it ended up being a great experience. I just drove up and stayed in the car the entire time. They changed my air filter too. The men working were extremely nice. I wish they did tire rotations. Now I will still need to go to my dealer, but overall I'm happy with the service. read more

Service was good. Pricing is higher than normal but you get a free car wash and tire rotation. However, the car wash was not part of their company and next door. It was closed for a systems upgrade. the place to get the tires rotated was a second location too and was slammed. I'd rather have better pricing and eliminate the car wash and tire rotation unless you have control of them. read more

I decided to give them a try cause I got a coupon from the mail. The guys there were friendly but the service is terrible; staff is lacking knowledge. The guy didn't know how to reset the thing on my car and they also didn't bother checking tire pressure even though he marked that they were going to do it on the formed I signed. This review is all about second chances. The first time I came here was about 5 years ago. I brought my partner's car in for an oil change. At that time, they tried to upsell me everything. Telling me I needed to clean the engine, trans fluid, coolant system... you name it, they told me I "needed" it. I let them change the cabin air filter on the car and that turned out to be a huge mistake. My partners car started taking in water every time it rained... not just a little water, like a pool building on her passenger floor. Turned out they didn't put the filter in correctly, nor did they put the rubber seal back on properly. So, I swore this location off. Fast forward to this past weekend.. I was in a crunch. I had failed to get an overdue oil change before heading on a road trip. I was incredibly pressed for time and going to my usual location would surely put me way behind schedule. So I figured, if I drove up here and there was no line I could get in and out and just keep saying no to anything they offered. I pulled up and to my delight there was one other car in their three car bay. They started opening the garage before I was even in the lane. The service guys were incredibly friendly, pointed out a minor issue on the vehicle and let it go when I stated I was aware of it. No trying to upsell any services! I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and I couldn't have been happier. Perhaps management has addressed past issues. After this experience, I will likely give them a third try in the near future. read more

I just got off the phone with corporate. Complete liars here! I called day before for a price the next day i come in and it's a different price so I ask told the manager would take care of it. He gave me 5 bucks off which I was okay with but he started saying I know you didn't call us yesterday and called me a bold face liar. I had the call logs to prove it and when I told him I'll just take my car somewhere else he goes go right ahead. He is not manager( he's black) the real manager is Dave (white). I got my oil change here plenty of times and I'm not sure why the price increase and he told me new owner/management which is a complete lie. Went in after work for an oil change. There was a kind man who welcomed me and got me registered, then a charming gentleman named Dave took over, the manager, I think. Stay away--- Scam artists - Terrible. Will never return. Had an oil change with Full Synthetic. However, what I received was 4 qt. synthetic and 1 qt conventional. I decided to wait and see if anyone would say anything to me... however, after dealing with all the up-sells, like a $20 air filter, $1 washer fluid, etc etc... no body said anything to me about the 80% "full synthetic" oil change I just received. So when questioned that they put 4qt synthetic and 1 qt regular, they said they didn't do that.... are you kidding me????? RIP ME OFF in plain sight, get caught, and then lie about it? I saw 4 qt came from individual bottles from a box, and 1+ qt came from the overhead hose oil dispenser !!!!!! Complete Liars! I have also had a friend go there recently and he said they now dispense their "full synthetic" oil from a large pouring container that is filled out and away from the customer's eyes and simply labeled "synthetic". Yeah, sure. I know that's 100% legit full synthetic oil in there. Sure buddy, whatever you say. In the end, this place is not trustworthy, and will rip you off. Stay away. read more

I just read the negative reviews and was really surprised. The guys here were really nice, pointed out some of the filters I should change (I declined, but made note so I can do it myself) and didn't pressure me into doing anything I didn't want to do. It was QUICK, which in my book is the best part. They even fixed, for free, something on my car which had nothing to do with the oil. read more

Fantastic service by Dave and his team! My first time there but I'll be back for sure. I have a 2001 jeep and went in for an oil change and a low coolant light. I also mentioned I was noticing a leak and they saw where it was coming from. Plus my hood wasn't closing right and Dave simply twisted these little springs that evened out how my hood closed and that was pretty cool. Not one other place went the extra step to notice it and offer to spend 20 seconds to help me. Now my hood closes right and it's evened out perfectly. This is literally the WORST oil express location I've ever been to! I went back in October for my oil change- the man tried to charge me more than normal for one like I was an idiot. I've been going to oil express for years- normally the oak park location which is wonderful. He tried to talk to me into new wipers at Darien which I had already replaced about a month before getting the oil change. He then tried to tell me that wiper fluid is extra after I said he didn't put any in. He told me each location is different and rent charge for windshield wiper fluid at the Darien location. I was flabbergasted because normally- my fluids are topped off and if I need more air in any tires- they replenish them. NOT TO MENTION- the guy did something to the heating hose in my car and now I am able to get even heat in my vehicle. I know this was done after I told him I would put the wiper fluid in when I got home. This is the WORST oil express I've ever been to and I would recommend NOBODY go here. I would literally give this location negative stars if I could read more

Oil change was OK. Problem they need to have someone with clean pants on, or cover the seat, when the sit in the car and start it. I don't like my light beige interior dirtied by their greasy clothes. read more
