I asked them why it was $60, and they suggested it was due to the size of the tire. I had to show them it was an R17, which is something a tire shop knows. They're just trying to get the extra $10 out of me. Was it worth it Valvoline, to try to get $10 out of me? (It's a bit tricky to access their driveway off of Brock St but just follow the signs for the car wash) They took my vehicle right away (you can stay in the car!) and clarified which service I wanted. Before starting, they told me what the price would be to confirm that I was okay with the cost. I've had horrible experiences in the past at other quick change places with the final cost being FAR more than advertised so this was especially refreshing. They even brought the dipstick to the window to show me the oil level was full :) The staff was very pleasant from start to finish and I even got a free car wash because I mentioned I found them on Yelp! I would definitely recommend thorn for oil changes!

After a quick search, Oil Changers appeared to be the shop of choice in the area. The actual experience lived up to past reviews. No appointment was required to quickly stop by and get an oil change. While I was there they squeegeed my windshield, refilled my windshield wiper fluid, filled my tired, and of course, refilled the engine oil with standard engine oil. The guys in the shop were refreshingly welcoming, and offered to have a look at a small issue with my hood prop. Though they couldn't fix it without spending some undue time, I appreciated the extra concern. I paid around $50 (tax included) for the oil change and other things. I figure you can get this done for cheaper elsewhere, but being short on time, I appreciated getting in and out without a hassle.

Their quote is also quite reasonable compared to other independent and chains I called. Keep in mind they only service on weekdays during work hours. While the office is a bit run down, with faded family photos, it does adds a bit of character and part of the charm. As promised, we were in and out in about 15 mins~ and if you pay cash, you can skip taxes too. I asked for a quote for oil change and braker fluid and for sure I know the oil change is better than getting it at my dealership already. I'll definitely recommend and will likely return for my next scheduled service. Harry, who's the owner, was personable and I noticed a steady stream of customers and calls during my time there so definitely call in and make an appointment as there's no scheduling online. I believe it's a family-run shop, I think I saw his son's certification on the wall as well.

Fast forward a few months later, I went back to this location for their Signature Service Oil Change, and only waited about 5 minutes for the bay door to open. Their waiting room and bathroom are very clean. There is ample seating with a TV and free Wi-Fi. They also have complimentary water, coffee, and even a slush machine. I was able to peak out the window to see them work on my car, and was surprised that they vacuumed the interior floors and cleaned "all" exterior windows. The guys are all very professional, friendly and super courteous. The oil change was $45.99 so with my coupon, it came to $35.99 + taxes. I will definitely come here again.

I don't normally do reviews other than food reviews but feel I should do one for this great auto…read moreshop that I visited yesterday. I was in dire need of repair to my car because my ignition coil went out and the mechanic that I usually go to service my car was not able to get me in on that day due to other appointments. So I began looking on the internet for nearby shops but ALL were all booked up solid. I then found this place and read a couple of Google reviews and they were all positive so I decided to give them a call and see if they could squeeze me in. The Asian gentleman I spoke to right off the bat was very nice and accommodating taking the time to explain how long it would take to fix my issue and the total cost upfront not like previous calls I had made to other auto shops where some were quick, rude, and gave me bs responses like " oh I don't know exactly how much it will cost yet but i will tell you once I take a look at the issue" even after me telling them exactly what the issue was! The gentleman continued on to say that he had a couple of cars to work on but could work on my car if I could swing by within the hr. So off I went to the shop immediately and when I got there I was able to meet the gentleman whom I had spoken to over the phone and he immediately greeted me with a smile and had me fill out my contact information and took my keys. He told me I could sit and wait in the waiting room or go somewhere else and he would call me when the car would be ready. I opted to wait in their waiting room where they had a big tv with an android box for you to watch stuff and a charger to charge your phone so that you can do your phone stuff without worrying about your phone dying while waiting which was way cool! Their big couches were pretty comfy as well. Oh yeah, they have a washroom for you to use freely when nature calls. When my car was ready, the total cost was exactly the same as when he quoted me over the phone during my initial contact which was very comforting, no surprises! Just to let you know, the total price was the cheapest out of some of the auto shops that I called around earlier. I also had the opportunity to speak with the mechanic who worked on my car whose name was Michael ( super cool, chill , and knowledgable guy). He took the time to further explain in depth what he had done and offered some recommendations as well. He even took me in the back and showed me where the problem was etc which I appreciated. Overall, I had an absolute great experience at this auto shop and I will definitely come back for future things needed done to my car. If you are looking for a great and honest auto shop, look no further, this place is it! I would highly recommend this place, they provide great service, super friendly, and most importantly, NO BS UPSELL TACTICS OR HIDDEN FEES!!!
