The staff was friendly, gave me an estimate on the amount insurance would cover and as it turned out, they called me two days later and told me I would be getting a refund because my insurance covered more than expected.

Compared his 2 dimensional x-ray with my dentist's, then did a 3 dimensional x ray to get an even better look. Luckily for me, no treatment is needed on this tooth nor the one sensitive to heat. He tapped it, and he cooled my tooth. His assessment, no treatment needed. Cost with my insurance $50. I appreciate the honesty and thoroughness of this office. She is constantly asking clients what she can add to the program to give them every opportunity to recover in a safe and drug-free environment. I have been in programs that eat, sleep, and breathe recovery, and that was fine in the beginning. This is a SOBER LIVING PROGRAM, which means that you should be past the phase of mommy and daddy holding your hand. In my opinion, if you can't recover at the next level, you don't really want to recover! This program is a breath of fresh air and a huge helping hand to those individuals who have the sense and understanding that there is a place where you can be shown how to become a productive member in this society from people who actually give a fuck if you succeed. All you have to do is REALLY WANT IT YOURSELF and BE WILLING TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE IT HAPPEN, and these people will move heaven and earth to HELP YOU HELP YOURSELF. What it isn't is a bed and breakfast for losers that want a free ride for as long as it lasts! Unfortunately, when you have people like that, and there are a ton of them, you hear how bad a program is because they just were not ready yet, and so they were referred out. That's more of a bruised ego, biting the hand that fed it. At the end of the day, it's really amazing that these people give a fuck to spend their days helping some really fucked up individuals. First of all they have pretty decent hours that work well with my weird work schedule and are very good about getting you in right away. Sometimes they are even able to offer same day appointments which is great. Second, I highly recommend Dr.Toohey because of how awesome she has been. I went to her for stomach issues (which she solved) and she also fixed my headaches! I've had headaches for probably 8 years and no doctor has ever really tried to help me, and Dr.Toohey fixed it with one visit! For that alone, I will love her forever!! She's also good for other medical problems too, but anyone who can stop the crazy pain in my head wins my heart. Dr. Schecter is extremely personable and the reason we will never look for a new optometrist again. His tests were fast, efficient and he was very polite throughout it all. Dr. Schecter was patient as he explained everything happening within my eyes. He was happy to detail my astigmatism and how that would effect me with contacts and glasses. He used a range of effective tests both with machines and using his own practices. After my test, his showroom staff were very helpful to walk me through their wide selection of frames. More importantly, they were honest in telling me what frames worked for my face and which were a bit of a stretch. It was all very anxiety inducing. I once stopped in to pick up contacts and they looked at me like they were visibly afraid and were mad at me that I came in without an appointment. They then wouldn't give me my contacts until they put my information in their computer so they could record I had been there. I have a lot of respect for the pandemic and was an ER nurse through the whole thing but this is just crazy.
