Customer service rep said coupon book not sent out until 2/3 and would take up to 10 business days to arrive, despite payment being due 2/13. I asked if we could move the date up. The rep said she couldn't and could not move it up in future years due to system constraints. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor. She told me someone would call me back. Never heard from anyone. I am not sure what their angle is - forcing late payment - but reporting to state department of insurance. If W&S is this scheming or incompetent how bad will it be for my beneficiaries when they make a claim?

On the 3rd day, my boss came in to introduce himself. He was the first person I met on the 27th floor. Three days. Employee surveys agree everyone hates wearing suits and ties. They hate working downtown. The top tier says "We hear you. We just don't care." Everything remains the same. WS owns several empty office buildings downtown. They force employees to work downtown just to keep up their occupancy levels. They use those numbers to try to sell empty buildings. On top of this, half the company is at or above retirement age. Half. Would you want to start at a company, downtown, that had a dresses, suites and ties dress code? No one else does either. Every day, employees retire. Most departments are already understaffed, so they reture without being able to pass on their institutional knowledge to anyone. WS is sailing onward, using a map from the 1950s. The Titanic sailed onward for a while too.

Told many different things from different people, lost so much money trying to get forms notarized EVEN though they have no place to notarize on the form itself so the notary refuses to sign it. Was told they would take online notaries but then refuse to accept it. It's a freaking joke. They had me running In circles for months trying to make changes. Told me they only send things thru mail but refuses to update my address so I don't get the mail. Their "agent" who sold me the policy "gao nou yang" in Minnesota has her mother selling policy's on her behalf and can't even get the paperwork done right. Informed Columbus life of this and they didn't care cause they're getting money. Columbus life was so quick to take money from my bank account but are clueless to any changes i am asking for after that. AVOID THEM!!!

I purchased an auto policy through your insurance rep Brandon Back (via AAA/Safeco) 2 years ago…read more Recently I was contacted by the company informing me my rates were going up. I first contacted Brandon via email to inquire on what I could do to get my rate back down. After a few days, I called and left a voice message. several days later he got back to me (over a week total) and said we needed to wait to get closer to the auto renew date on my policy before we could do anything. Once that happened I reached out again via email. No response. I called and left a voicemail a week later - no response. I called several days later again and still no response. I then called the safeco 800 number and got to someone who was able to answer a few simple questions for me - took all of 5 minutes. Long story short I shopped for another insurance vendor and saved myself almost $200 on the same exact policy through Mr Brandon/AAA/safeco. To be honest, had Brandon gotten back to me with any response at all, I probably would have renewed even at the higher rate just out of convenience - however because Brandon chose not to respond to my simple inquiry, I decided to spend my $$ with another company. Bad customer service has its consequences. Hopefully this feedback will not go unnoticed.
