This was undoubtedly one of the more interesting experiences of my life. First, finding the office entrance was a little intimidating: there was no signage and it was located in the back of a building that required me to walk through through a creepy loading dock-like area and question my life decisions. However, I understand the need to keep these offices discrete, and once I navigated the maze of walking in, I found the office itself inviting, comfortable and professional. The office staff were prompt, courteous and they made me feel welcome. The physician was a unique fellow--he definitely wasnt your typical stuffy MD which was good as he displayed a unique combination of friendly goofiness, knowledge, and concern for my chronic pain. This put me at ease while we discussed my health history and options for moving forward towards cannabis treatment. After this evaluation, he immediately completed the online recommendation to register me for my cannabis card, and then the office manager explained all rules and responsibilities of using medical cannabis while having me complete the online Ohio registration on my phone. Then bing-bang-boom: I had my official card right then and there!! I had no idea it would happen that fast. After that, the office manager answered all questions I had and provided an info packet on what he just told me. As I left, I saw several little old ladies with cancer also going through this process, being treated with the same kindness and compassion and offers to help them through every step of the registration. It made me smile, and helped me navigate the creepy walk back to my car, which then didnt seem so creepy anymore. read more

I didn't know what to expect and I was a little nervous meeting a new doctor. I was warmly greeted by reception and he quickly got me signed in. My next step was to meet with the doctor who was very nice and compassionate about my concerns and very patient with me to go over everything I needed to make inform decisions in such a short consultation. The office manager was just as prioritized and and no waiting to see her for my exit consultation. From start to finish everyone was very friendly, organized, and professional and made my visit extremely important. I wasn't just a number or hmo to them, I was treated like family. Thank you everyone. read more

I have no experience with registering for a marijuana card, but was eager to receive it. My MS journey includes several uncomfortable nights a week with leg pain, hip pain, etc. However, signing up for help on this program was a 10. They are helpful, friendly, and the meeting with a doctor can be done as a tele-visit. Couldn't be happier. Thanks so very much! read more
