I suppose yelp only welcomes negative reviews and not positive reviews. This business is on Google, Styleseat and Facebook with over 100 reviews. This one negative review is the only review yelp allowed out of other reviewers that had a positive experience. Which is unfair and biased! The 1 review is from a Fibroid group on facebook. The person seen my profile picture of a caucasian female and tried to create a racial attack on my business based on my recommendation of a vegan straightener. And yes, natural haired females are struggling with their natural kink, coil, curl, nap or whatever term you want to use. I can't make fun of hair that i also possess as a colored woman i can describe what i know texture and condition of hair that i have worked with for over 30 years. As i mentioned, clients come in every day inspite of her review to get their hair silk pressed or transitioned into a sodium hydroxide relaxer or a vegan straightener because they do NOT LIKE their kinky, curly, nappy hair. If 10C sounds better than use that term, but I'm old school and your hair is either fine, medium or coarse and coarse to most of us means nappy. So i apologize if using the term nappy would cause anyone anger or disparity. That was not my intentions, but with that particular lady that used her prejudice and racism to come for what she thought was a white person because of a profile pic of a cute haircut on a white lady that i used ... in conclusion, OHANNAHS is blessed and highly favored and NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER. we know weapons are going to form, but THEY WON'T PROSPER! we are still the #1 salon on the East side of Atlanta. I am still booked and busy, and if any person(s) that chooses not to receive hair care/services due to her negative review... i consider that protection. Because if anyone knows me or anything about OHANNAHS they know that was a personal attack and not an reflection of the customer care given at this establishment. Please do not let that lady who used the name of SUMMER have the final say. Very Happy! My daughter is getting older and didn't want to have braids anymore. she wanted to be able to comb her own hair. her hair is super horse thick and she is very tender headed. She is natural and so I didn't want to get a perm. Her hair was so thick I couldn't part it without hurting her. something had to give. Then we contacted Ohannah and she assessed my daughter's hair and recommended she try the Keratin Treatment! She educated me on it as well. so we got the Martin treatment and when I say it did not disappoint! My daughter's hair is so beautiful, easy to manage and brush and comb. it has been about 3 weeks now and it's still beautiful! The salon experience for my daughter was very nice. I watched her smile as O'Hannah would talk and explain things to her. a great experience for her. Walked into O' Hanna's looking "ok" and walked out with a hairstyle that had me lookin' and feelin' good!! After years of being held hostage by my hair- couldn't work out during the week, couldn't get in the water on vacation, wigs here and there (which further damaged my short, dry hair) even tried braids one time for 2 days. The shop is clean and soothing, you make an appointment and she keeps them and you are in and out on time. Talented, gifted, knowledgeable and extremely skilled. She has educated me every step of the way about my hair, it's care and protection. With Hannah, I have discovered a new me and my man is HAPPY & in love with the "2" women that make up Me. I LOVE getting my hair done at Ohanna's. She did a brilliant job with my Phyto services. She was very knowledgeable and caring. This was my time time receiving a Phyto. She'd done my hair years ago and I told myself if and when I came back to Georgia that I was going to hunt her down to do my hair. Ohannah can really get your hair in great healthy shape.
