Bxquisit is the most friendly salon I've been in (and no, it's not because I'm from New York lol). I can tell everyone genuinely loves what they do and they're very pleasant. Not to mention, it's a relaxing experience every time I come in and the ladies do great work! I have come on two separate occasions (one for a silk press and one for a sew in) and Briana slays my hair EVERY TIME. She's amazing at what she does and she makes you feel at ease because SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING. Because I was new to the area, I was so nervous to let anyone touch my head of hair that I worked so hard to grow after doing a pixie cut 4 years ago. Today was my second time visiting the salon. My stylist was Khatia Pass. I received a honey…read moretreatment and asked for a perm rod set. I wish I would have canceled the appointment. First, she didn't apply an ample amount of setting lotion or foam wrap. Second, she applied the curlers horizontal instead of vertical. Lastly, hair was sticking out of the rollers. When i dried my hair was looking dry as ever! There was no luster or shine. She added oil to "pull the curls out" and that didn't help. This was horrible. Please bear in mind that my hair was recently relaxed by her so there was no reason for my hair to look like this. My hair looks like i had these curls for 3 weeks and i just left the salon an hour ago. The salon itself is nice with a relaxing atmosphere. Just make sure you have the right stylist. I am ashamed, however will certainly post photos. I contacted the stylist who has yet to respond to my texts. UPDATE: I received feedback via Google from the salon which prompted me to call. I spoke with the manager who asked me to send photos so she could review them with K the stylist. I sent the photos and a text to confirm receipt of the photos. I have yet to receive a confirmation. I really hope that they try to correct this to make my experience ELITE. I will certainly let you guys know how this play out. UPDATE: I heard back from the stylist who offered me an appointment on friday to correct this error. However, after she saw my review (that would have been updated if she fixed the problem) she no longer wanted to correct the issue. I got a text message state she had to cancel the appointment due to the review left on the salon's page. Not everyone can accept constructive criticism. Everyone doesn't stand behind their work either. Stylists if you don't know how to do a style, tell the client, don't just throw something up there to get their money.

I must say she gave the best massage. I felt extremely relaxed. I will not say my pain is gone away, but it's more bearable since getting massages twice a month. She showed me exercises to do in between. I been to physical therapy and had needling with fair results. My goal is to continue getting massages and hopefully this awful pinched nerve-like pain will go away. I highly recommend her.
