I didn't speak up at the appointment and paid before leaving, but I wasn't happy with the result. I also experienced a lot of shedding after my color appointments. I can't say what caused it, but I was concerned. I recently went to Tomeka's Upscale Salon, where Tomeka explained each step and achieved the color I had requested. However, I was desperately in need of a salon that accepted walk-ins and was accessible for disabled customers, so I decided to give them a try. I am very glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and asked what services I wanted. I requested a shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, and a trim. I was taken right away for my shampoo and deep conditioner. Another stylist set my hair on rollers, and once I was finished under the dryer, another stylist promptly began styling my hair. The entire process was efficient, and all of the stylists I interacted with were friendly, patient, and accommodating. As someone with a disability, I especially appreciated the kindness and patience they showed me. Unfortunately, that is not always the experience disabled customers receive, so their attentiveness meant a great deal. My only minor concern was that during the deep conditioning treatment, I was not initially offered a towel to protect my clothing. I did ask for one because I did not want my shirt to get wet, and it was provided. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and the professionalism of the staff. My experience was positive, and I plan to return in the future.

I understand that multi-tasking is part of the job at times but doing 4 + heads simultaneously creates a bad experience for some like myself. A rough estimated wait time should be given initially because I was there for 5hrs despite them starting the coloring right away. Aside from them being understaffed, and taking too long, I'd recommend this place for my natural hair girls. I had 0 heat damage. Solid spot!

I just came back from the shop today and realized I have really been with this stylist for a year( longest I've ever been with a stylist) and that's because I love that she loves what she does and does it excellently well. I mean Jerrel puts her customers before anything else, we come first! You tell her the temp is too hot in the room she'll adjust it, tell her it's too cold she'll adjust, or just tell her your uncomfortable about something she'll find a way to make you get comfortable. My hair today looks amazing, been getting compliments and smiling all day because I love what she did. Her hands are blessed! Especially when she starts washing and massaging your hair wooh!
