I've never been to headquarters but from what I've heard it is the same atmosphere. Professor Rivaldo Junior is extremely skilled, humble and takes time to walk you through some of the more difficult systems. He also pushes you past your comfort zone... gently. The staff is also awesome. I have three kids attending their program and I am very happy with the level of attention and patience all the instructors have. Lastly, they have some pretty big names; although, I do not follow professional fights like UFC, various BJJ tickets, and IBJJF matches but I am proud to say that many members of the gym are pros, down to earth, and I'm grateful to do my little part to train with them.

My family went to train at GFT Champions Factory, now known as ASA Jiu Jitsu Academy, in September…read moreof 2020. We signed a 1 year contract with them. The agreement was to begin Sept 15th 2020 and end September 15th 2021. We paid that contract in full. I requested payments be stopped because we were switching gyms. In October no payment went through. The owner contacted us Monday, November 15th 2021, requesting payment for October. I clearly explained to her that we had fulfilled our contract and would not be paying her anymore money. On November 16th 2021 a payment was processed. I contacted the owner and requested a refund. She claimed she didn't know why the payment was processed and said she would let me know when she got to the gym and could look. She has since ignored my messages and failed to respond to my request for a refund. I would suggest you stay away from this gym as the owner is dishonest and will continue to charge you even after you leave!
