Let me preface this by saying I HAVEN'T EVEN GONE YET! I literally send a message and wait for a response to very basic questions and either don't get the right answer or don't get an answer at all. I was told equipment will be provided then the day before the class i find out that i actually need to buy it all myself because it's "not guaranteed." Not what i was told at the beginning but okay (i have texts to prove it too). It seems like whoever is in charge of responding to peoples questions and concerns doesn't really care if you're not apart of the gym already. Not sure if that's what's going on for sure, just how it feels after being ignored and getting a lackluster or no response at all. THAT'S NOT EVEN THE WORST PART. I'm a total beginner. I have made that very clear from the beginning and i think i have asked which Muay Thai class is the beginner class (because you guys have 3-4 of them at different times) because obviously I dont want to go into an intermediate class when, again, I'm a beginner. You think you'd want to answer this question relatively fast so someone doesn't get hurt but i guess thats not the case here. I thought i found a good gym and one that was close to the house but i guess it's back to finding a new gym. read more

Agree with Mardy S. review from 2018...Not sure what kind of person is running this "business" in 2021. The place reeks of dried sweat and used socks hidden away for years. Professionalism & courtesy....not at this place. Posted hours on door said open at 3...I was there at 3:35 pm...door was locked After banging on door for 5 min. some guy working out who was dripping with sweat answers I have to yell over the music blasting that I want to buy a membership. He says...only person can do that not here...be here in about 20 mins. NOT, I'm sorry sir but.... I would call this a Rocky gym but that would be to high of a rating. read more

I am not sure what kind of person is running this business. I visited this gym March 3, 2018. After I left, I contacted the owner to purchase some merchandise. Because I am from out of town, he asked me to PayPal him $31 and he would mail me the items. I sent him the money that same day. Despite 3 gentle reminders he has failed to mail me what I paid for or refund my money. He basically just lies and then ignores. I might as well have thrown my money in the trash. Pretty shady way to run a business. read more

I trained here for a little over a year and I was involved in competitions where I witnessed first hand the support and encouragement of everyone from this gym. I had a chance to see the various martial arts that are taught and witnessed how the family culture was so deeply integrated within the coaches and students. I immediately felt the moral support from my fellow classmates. Everyone just seems to embrace everyone's want to be better whether it's a physical goal, a self esteem booster, or just a passion for the arts. I am glad to have become part of the Dominion MMA family and I'm hoping to be able to return to further my training in my personal favorite art of muay thai. read more

I am 42 years old and just started training here to get back in shape and have something for my son and I to share together once he is old enough. Coach Ray was very polite and respectful when I first met him. He offered me 3 free classes to check the gym out and even shared his story about training with his son. I came back two more times and Rey as well as all the students were exactly like he said. Respectful and helpful. I was made to feel right at home right away. I am glad I decided to join this gym and I look forward to introducing my family to the sport of BJJ as well as everyone at Dominion MMA. Good people here. read more

I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at this gym 2-4 times a week. I've been training for about 3 months now, started with no prior experience. Coach Rey and coach Jerry are fantastic, always quick to break down a concept or put in the extra work to help me understand. Huge offering of classes and the gym family is very welcoming. DO NOT SIGN UP. They'll keep charging you even after you've canceled. An absolutely miserable experience I'm still dealing with 6 months later! First off, the quality of service is nothing compared to what you can find else where. The owner of the gym likes to brag about how fast he received his black belt, which makes me question the legitimacy of his capabilities. He also very rarely does any coaching at all. The primary instructor is Angel Cruz, who likes to think he's a legitimate fighter. Unfortunately for him, he seems to have suffered some sort of brain damage cause he can never seem to remember the names of the moves he's teaching you. Regardless of all the negative aspects of the actual training..I've been wrongfully charged over $1000 after canceling. The first time I caught it, back in May, I was promptly refunded, so I moved on with my life. Now 6 months later, my credit company reached out to me asking why payments were being made on these charges I had no idea about! They've continued to charge me membership fees totaling $720. I reached out to Rey and was told he processed the refund. Now, 2 weeks later, I still haven't received the refund and he's not answering phone calls. PLEASE save yourself the head ache. read more

My husband and I are so grateful to find this gym. The coaches have taught my son self control and discipline. My son has grown to love the sport spending 4 hours at the gym M-F because he wants to. Everyone there is wanting to help each other grown and get better. My husband has also started training! And has lost 40lbs and is in the BEST shape of his life. Do not enroll yourself or your children here. One of the instructors frequently uses profanity while instructing the children, or sits down and talks to parents while providing minimal instruction to the kids. This is not what $150 a month per child of instruction should look like. Additionally, we had enrolled two kids and were promised a discount of $25 off per child, only one discount had been applied. They also owed us a refund of $150 for cancelling one child for a month and we never received the refund. We contacted the owner MULTIPLE times about the discount and the refund and were always given excuses that the system was down. He even offered to write us a check, but every time I mentioned the days I would be there to pick it up, the owner coincidentally wasn't at the gym. We spent about 2 months of going back and forth over the refund and never received it. Due to all of the above reasons, we decided it wasn't worth the absurd $150 per child fee. We have found a much better, highly rated MMA gym for half the price who provides superb instruction. Again, DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM! read more
