Each coach has their own specialty(this is totally my opinion) I think this is what makes body armor so special. When I was in my search for a box, I really wanted to find a place that had an inclusive community. I also wanted a place that I felt would allow me to reach my goals. Body armor has both. I love that the coaches put in extra time to create sessions for community need. For example, one of the coaches had a "Fix yo' Squat" session for people who wanted individualized instruction to help perfect their squat position. Also, coaches did a muscle-up clinic for tips on perfecting your muscle up. The gym has a great community filled with newbies and veterans. I feel that this gym is incredibly inclusive. I have learned so much from the people that are there! Body Armor offers Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit, and strongman! Also, the owner's Ryan and Gabby are awesome. They care about their members and are available when you need them!

Holy wow. I'm…read moretotally impressed with Crossfit. I won't lie, I was awfully intimidated before my first class. I pulled up and fought the strong urge to just drive away as I watched what looked to be a very tough workout by the people in the class ahead of me. I'm happy to note that I went in and found a very tough workout but one led by an encouraging and helpful instructor, rather than someone yelling at me like a drill sergeant. The classes are structured to change daily so you don't find yourself doing the same workout over and over. There's a bit of competition in the air, but also honestly, I felt very encouraged by everyone. I'll update with more as time goes on but this is my opinion after my first week. This place rocks. You can try a class for free and see for yourself!

Best Decision I've Made - Thank You Patricia!…read more WellFIT Private Fitness is a hidden gem in Castle Hills. The gym is super clean, spacious, focused--and one thing I really appreciated--no cameras or video nonsense. Just you, your goals, and the work. I signed up for the 8-week program after meeting Patricia Khoury, the owner, for a free session. Right away, I could tell she was different. She actually took the time to listen to what I was dealing with--weight gain, wanting to build muscle, and get my balance back after knee replacements. She really got it, and explained exactly how she could help in a way that made total sense. Now I'm 7 weeks in, and honestly--I feel stronger, I've lost 10 pounds, built noticeable muscle, and I feel like my old self again. I'm more active, more confident, and way more energized. Patricia's coaching style is no joke--in the best way. She's 100% present in every session, always making sure I'm moving with intention, never letting me slack. She's tough, but in a supportive, encouraging way. You know she's in your corner. Yeah, I was sore the first few weeks, but it was so worth it. She also gave me a simple, doable meal plan that I could actually stick with (and I'm not someone who likes complicated diets). It's made a big difference. I even got my wife to join in with me, and she's just as happy I chose Patricia over the other coaches in the area. If you're over 50 (or even if you're not) and looking for someone who knows what they're doing, doesn't sugarcoat things, and genuinely cares about your progress--Patricia's the real deal. She gets results, and she trains on weekends too! Absolutely worth it. I'm so glad I found her.

I loved going to the classes so much, I decided to continue going and I still go as of March 2017. Chad is my favorite trainer I have ever worked with. He adjusts the workouts to fit your personalized needs/goals which is something I was looking for in the beginning. I tried Crossfit, but I really couldn't lift what they were telling me to. When I worked with chad he started me on things I could actually do and we slowly worked our way up - this is all while the group is working at the same time on the same thing; it's all based on your personal max-outs. Chad is also the type of trainer who gives you your space. He isn't on top of you of why you're not at a class but at the same time, knows when you're just being lazy! He is also very understanding and flexible. The 5:30 am class is a little too early for me, but the 6:30 am class is too late so he suggested I come at 6 am and I work between the classes. It's great and really fits my needs! If you're looking to get started in fitness or looking for someone to help you continue your journey you have found the right place!
