But thank God it wasn't a bad experience. We've been taking our son here for almost a year because his primary care doctor is at this location. Our doctor has an assigned nurse which is one we appreciate; she already knows is and looks forward to seeing our son each time! It just makes everything a more pleasurable experience and one that's personal simply because she's warm, friendly, and very personal. I mean, he knows her or at least recognizes her from the previous appointment. So we gave this place a 4 star, nice folks, great doctor who's very informative and knowledgeable, plus they offer great customer care. The only thing is if you come early to your appointment or late to your appointment or on time, there's a minimum of a 30 minute wait before the nurse sees you.

My doctor is Dr. Kristy magee and she is the best doctor I've ever had. in my 20 years of seeing her she has always been very compassionate of all my illnesses. My husband also goes to her as well and she has helped us through many situations that other doctors would have a wait-and-see attitude. 2 years ago when my husband was very sick she even gave us her cell phone number to contact her if there were any changes in his health. The staff is always very friendly and helpful at both Sanford and Lake Mary office. Like all doctors offices, they are overwhelmed so you will have to stay on top of things if you want to get your results. So one arrives 30 minutes early as told to do so, then the front office personnel lady begins to be rude and would not let one keep their appointment nor admit her mistake; yet only would reschedule another week out... this is one who has a broken bone in their hand, was also referred to this practice by a primary care doctor. We requested to speak to an office manager and/or the doctor, was refused by the lady in the front. I personally do not believe the doctor even knows what is going on at the front end of his practice. With that being said our last appointment with his office was everything but smooth, my wife had made an appointment for 9:15 am but she had to call the office to see if she could come in earlier than her appointment time and that is when the office staff said she could come in @ 8:30 meaning they could fit her in earlier. So we arrived at Dr. Miltenberger's office at 8:15 am my wife checked in with the front desk and then we waited in the lobby for her to be called back. What transpired while we were waiting for her name to be called was not acceptable because there were three to four people that we checked in before that had their names called and we're allowed to been seen before my wife was seen, which was not fair to my wife. She went back to the front desk to ask why there were several people taken before her when she had checked in first, and she was told that all the other patients had appointments that were before her appointment even though they told her that if she came in early she would been seen first. But they told her who ever told her that it was a guarantee that she would be seen first was wrong and that they were sorry for the wrong information. The office staff handled the situation in an unprofessional way because they had given wrong information which in my opinion is not good and they need to train their staff properly.

There are too many other good physicians out there to be stuck with mediocrity. Avoid this man and his practice at all costs.
