That was my first eyelash lifting, and it was extremely disappointing! I came to Lili a couple of days before leaving for my honeymoon in Hawaii, so I hoped to look great even in the swimming pool and not use any mascara. I checked the reviews and picked Yumi Keratin Lift. When I left Lili, my lashes looked really nice, but just 20 minutes later, my lashes curled back into eyelid creases, hurting my skin!!! See the result in the attached photos. I texted Lili about the issue, and she suggested fixing it. Indeed, my lashes don't curl back any longer, but they are terribly messed up. See another pic of the "fixed" result. On top of that, my skin was damaged (even though I have thick, oily, non-sensitive skin), and I had eye puffs for several days after the procedure. So instead of looking great on my honeymoon, I struggled with my skin around the eyes and had to apply mascara even more than I used to. For $200(+tips), I would be better off buying three packs of Tom Ford mascara instead. *Updated in response to Lili's comment: You can only see the final result about an hour after the procedure when your lashes are fully dry. If I had seen the first procedure result immediately, I would have never left without fixing this. And that's not true that I haven't contacted Lili after her unsuccessful attempt to fix her mistake that ruined my lashes. I texted her a couple of hours after my second visit and asked what I could do about this mess. She has NEVER recommended mascara. She advised me to wet my lashes which I did. Lili Mai is amazing!! I have long, straight asian lashes that require multiple passes with an eyelash curler to leave a lasting "crimp" that just disappears after a coat or two of mascara. I had a Wink keratin lash lift (vegan!) that opens up my eyes and leaves a noticeable difference right away. The best part is- no maintenance! All you need to do is keep your lashes dry for 2 days, and you're good to go after that. While extensions are beautiful, I just don't have the patience to maintain them...so lifts are a god send. I've attached a before and after pic & a pic of me wearing mascara (no droopy lashes). Lili's lifts are beautiful and well done. Overall, I'm disappointed. She completely messed up my lashes. I noticed my lashes were sticking to my skin when I got home from my appointment. I tried to gently remove any excess glue with eye make-up remover, but obviously didn't want to wet my lashes. The question is, why wasn't the excess glue removed in the first place? My appointment was for a Yumi Lash lift and brow lamination. Day of my appointment Lilli texts me asking me if I could come in at 11:00 instead of my original appointment at 11:30. As per instructions I text her when I get there and she tells me she's running 5 min behind. Fast forward to 11:16 and she's finally ready. Then she doesn't even address or apologize for changing appointment times just to make me wait in my car, just later informs me she was running errands. During my appointment she was quite vigorous while removing the glue from my brows, continuing to brush them back and forth in the opposite direction. I actually have what looks like little raw abrasions. Lilli claims this is an allergic reaction however I wasn't aware an allergic reaction causes small abrasions where skin is actually removed and it is painful. Now on to my lashes, I have glue on my eyelid and on the left corner of my eyelid I had some little lashes clumped together with glue that I had to try and separate but because of the no product or water around the eyelid for 48hr rule I'm not even sure how I'm suppose to remove it! I just have these weird creases and flakes from the glue. So frustrating! My mom gets both of these things done all the time and she has never had to remove the glue off of her eyelid after an appointment. I texted Lilli and informed her about what was going on with my brows, she offered a refund for the brow lamination but honestly that is not good enough! I don't know if I met Lilli on an off day but I feel she rushed through my appointment and I did not get anywhere near the same experience as these other reviewers seem to have had, therefore for the first time ever I felt I needed to write a review. * In response to owners reply* As I appreciate your need to defend yourself and your business, I must clarify that you did not give me any instructions as far as removing glue from the lash lift. You said if there is any remaining glue on your eyebrows you can use castor oil to remove it and then I said okay. Then you asked me what oils I had at home and I told you castor, grape seed, and olive. You said the castor would work just fine. Again, you never mentioned there would be remaining glue on my eyelashes/eyelids and certainly not eyelashes stuck together or on my skin. I was being generous in saying 11:16 because if you remember correctly at 11:16 is when I sent you the text letting you know I was in the waiting area. The reason I had to send you a text letting you know I was in the waiting area to begin with is because at 11:11 you texted "Ready in 2 min". After 2 minutes went by I wasn't sure if you expected me to just know to come inside? So I went inside after hearing nothing from you. At 11:16 I let you know I was inside and it wasn't actually until around 11:19 that you came out to get me from the waiting area. The reason I know that time specifically is because I took a before photo of my brows and eyelashes while waiting and it's time says 11:19. I wouldn't have cared waiting 15 minutes but the fact is you changed my time from 11:30 to 11 to just make me wait about 20 minutes all together. You tried to say it was an allergic reaction, all I had to say was I wasn't aware an allergic reaction caused skin to remove itself for you to then take responsibility for your actions. If it makes you feel better I apologize for using the word "claimed". I wish you'd put my replies in your response because then people would also know that brow hair also fell out. * My brows are finally starting to heal, scabs are no longer itchy and flaky. Some lower lashes are going upward causing my lashes to get stuck to the top ones when I wear mascara. This was suppose to make my mornings easier to get up and go and it has only made things harder. This was my experience, obviously this doesn't seem typical based on her reviews and this is what leads me to believe my service was rushed. * read more

I love Lili's work! I've had my brows AND my lashes done by her. I felt like I've been going to her for years but it turns out, my first appointment with her was November 2017. Lili is such a hard worker and she's always finding new ways to improve her skills. She takes the time to make sure that EVERYTHING is perfect whether you want your lashes a little longer or your brows defined. She definitely does not get enough credit for how hard of a worker she is. BROWS: My first appointment with her was 11/7/2017 which was for microblading. At this point, she was still taking clients at home, but she made sure that I was comfortable. As you can see in the photo, I literally had thin, short eyebrows. It would usually take me 20-30 minutes to draw in my brows. For my first appointment, we did microblading which gave me the hair-like strokes. Lili suggested for my touch up that we add shading to give it a filled-in effect and I agreed! So the 2nd appointment was microblading areas that didn't retain the strokes and then she added the shading which was perfect because I didn't need to fill in my brows anymore! I got so many compliments when I was out and even from customers at work! I didn't have to start filling them in until about 6 months later. I have oily skin and i was using a exfoliating face wash, so those 2 issues made my brows fade faster. So at my last appointment, Lili touched up my brows with microblading and manual shading which retains better for people who have oily skin. I also mentioned I wanted a rounder arch and Lili made it happen! My brows are beautiful! Im in love with them! LASHES: **I've gone to 2 lash artists before and had a bad experience with both. What people dont know is that some lash technicians aren't even licensed cosmotologists. Hint: you're supposed to be licensed to do lashes** I decided to not take any chances with the lash artists that only charge $60 for a set, because I knew Lili does HIGH QUALITY WORK WITH HIGH QUALITY SUPPLIES. Yes her pricing is a little more than other but trust me: you get what you pay for! I told Lili the kind of lashes I liked and she knew right away what kind of set i would like. She took her time and didn't rush and my lashes came out so pretty, they looked just like a set of Ardell falsies! Since then, I've had 1 fill with longer length. I'm waiting for all the lashes to fall out to get a fuller set, but the glue she uses is high quality! These lashes have stayed for almost 3 weeks!
