Dark chocolate dipping. It was so cool how it froze on after about 15-20 seconds!

I went to Oh la cache for an ice cream, and it was so cool! I just got a chocolate and vanilla swirl, but my sister got a chocolate swirl with a layer of chocolate on it. They have like 6 different chocolate dipping sauces! They turn the ice cream over and dip it in the sauce. My sister said it was very good. They also had interesting flavors like cotton candy, red velvet cake I think, vanilla raspberry, etc. I also saw some very tasty desserts. I definitely recommend this place.

Yummy chocolate croissants. Hot chocolate is delish. Very cozy during winter months. Space is tight, timing is everything. Enjoy!

You guys... there is a cabin... and it is FULL OF SUGAR!!!…read more Now I will say if you're going just to shop for cute little maple souvenirs, this is a great spot. They have maple syrup in any type of container imaginable... plus maple candies, maple butter, maple jelly... you get the point. They also have that one thing where they pour maple syrup on snow and then you like wrap it around a tongue depressant and eat it like a lollipop. I know that sounds insane... and it was... but it's real. Personally I didn't care of the stick of maple sugar, but it seems like other really liked it... so there's that? Overall a cute stop while in the area, but maybe best just to grab a few gift items and then leaving. Stay Cheerful ;)

We went back the second night, and didn't know that we had to go inside the shack to order it first. Once you order and pay, a staff member will come out and pour the hot maple syrup on the snow, wait 45 seconds and then you get to roll it up. It was a lot of fun. I'm used to receiving the taffy already rolled so it was a nice change to roll it ourselves. The taffy also draws a crowd, so be prepared for an audience as your rolling your taffy. The taffy is sweet, but yummy. A must do when your at Tremblant. :)

I want to start with that the food was phenomenal but there was one waiter that upset me. He was…read morethe man that sat us at the table but made a remark to us because we were behind the curtain and didn't fully come in but he saw us and didn't say anything so we thought to wait because we did get there at open. So he said his remark and we just brushed it off as him being slightly off. We ordered 3 starters, the foie of the moment, the sweet breads and the rabbit Tagliolini. The foie and sweet breads were phenomenal but their rabbit was lacking flavor and we also bit down on a bone. When our waiter came to clear the plates the other man (who sat us) spoke to him in French in front of our faces and I knew something not nice was said. I know we sound American but I who doesn't speak French knew something was said that was offensive. So I asked my husband who is from here what was said and he said he made a remark about how we finished all the dishes. So that was just another thing the waiter said to us that was unnecessary. Mind you, there's a tasting menu of 4 or 7 courses so I think he'd be shocked to find out that we typically do tasting menus when a restaurant offers them and those can me 10-12 courses. The female waitress who helped us toward the end seemed very professional and wish we had her. By the time our main course was in front of us we were ready to leave but the food was great. He got the osso bucco and I got the lamb. Noth were good, lamb had some fatty areas on the outside that were easy to remove. We opted out of the dessert since we were full because like the waiter said, we ate everything we ordered (weird thing to do I guess). If you're American, I'd go but with the precaution, you may be treated different or talked about in front of you in French sadly.

At the end of October I took a last second weekend trip with my lover to the Tremblant area. Our…read morefirst morning there we woke up starving and began our search for a good breakfast place and happened to decide on Le Charlotte after a quick online search. We were not disappointed! We arrived around 9:00 which is apparently late for this place as we had to wait a bit outside for about 45 minutes. It was a beautiful day and the nice chairs and picnic table outside make the wait almost enjoyable. After talking to some regulars which advised us if you don't want a long wait you have to come by 8:30 on weekends! However it is worth the wait! Seated in the cozy restaurant/house with only about 12 tables it felt like we were in someone's dining room. Starving by this time we pulled our hair out trying to decide what to choose from the delicious options on the menu. In the end she went for sweet and I went for salty. I couldn't have made a better choice! I got a grilled cheese smothered with house onion soup, hollandaise and a poached egg. Because my eyes were bigger than stomach I ordered a side of perfectly cooked bacon! I couldn't have been more happy with the breakfast dish. Simple yet creative and extremely hearty! The onion soup was rich and very flavourful and purposely not too salty which made the grilled cheese underneath fill that void! House made hollandaise sauce added even more richness to the dish making the perfectly poached egg gourmandese overkill. My lover's crepe dish was the complete opposite. Fresh crepes smothered in chocolate and a generous amount of fresh fruits provided the sweet to my salty on the table. Although perfectly prepared and delicious there was nothing particularly creative about the dish but it's just breakfast after all and if you are a sweet loving breakfast person this would be a perfect dish for you! My breakfast was so satisfying that we went back the next day and I ordered the exact same thing. I can't say enough about this place. Cozy, warm, welcoming, creative and woman owned and operated. I'll definitely be back and if you get there late and have to wait it's definitely worth it!

Some people came after us, ordered, ate and LEFT before we got our food. I tried to give no tip, but the waitress would not let me, the software forces you to leave a tip higher than zero unless she pushes a special button before the payment screen. I felt scammed, and my entire family was unhappy as this was the last meal of our vacation and it was the worst one.
