To start the unbelievable rotting smell of the port where we were departing from was overwhelming to say the least. Rotted water full of garbage and tons of a disgusting sea slime. You would think that doing business there this company and the others around would make sure to take care of the ocean and it surroundings as a simple human rule never mind to make that first impression a pleasant experience to the people they served. Anyways, we hoped on the water taxi and a few minutes later the driver hoped on and didn't even acknowledge that we were there. Only until I said hello he finally mumbled a hi between his teeth, VERY FRIENDLY. A very cranky, divo like, disrespectful and simply ridiculously rude man. He took us to the island and didn't even care to advise us on anything whatsoever, it was our first time, nothing at all even less a goodbye see you at 4 have fun NOTHING. The experience at the island was great we had a great time. Then he came to pick us up with the same attitude as earlier. If you are looking for a friendly water taxi company this one is not it.

Some way, some how with lots and lots of google'ing, I found PR vacation helpers. I was in contact with Jenna and Brittney via email. They were both very nice and professional. They explained that they go to the ferry twice a week to get tickets for people even though the ferry may be sold out. Maybe they have a "hookup"? I don't know how but when someone mentions they may be able to get you tickets to something that is completely unavailable to the general public, you zip your mouth and don't ask questions lol. They explained that I had to paypal the company $30 for three people on the ferry roundtrip and that if they are not able to get the tickets for whatever reason while at the ferry terminal, they refund you everything but $5. I was skeptical about sending money's electronically to a company I did not know but I did it anyways in hopes to get to Culebra. It just so happens that due to my own I tinerary and tight schedule for the day, our Culebra trip couldn't even happen :( therefore, they refunded me and called it a day! They tried, so did I. So sad it couldn't work out but I can honestly say, I WOULD use them when my itinerary does allow me for a full day in the future. Try them out! They are honest and professional. A for effort.

We set sail on a 8 days cruise. Two days travels at seas then to St. Kitt, St. Maarten, one day at sea to San Juan Puerto Rico, one day travel at sea then the Coco Cay Island and travel back to Ft. Lauderdale port. The ship has been remodeled with more modern amenities. The staff is incredibly friendly. I recommend this cruise line for a wonderful way to celebrate a beautiful, anniversary honeymoon, or even a divorce party.

With a group of 10 girls, our biggest concern was finding reliable transportation, especially since Ubers are not easy to come by in Luquillo Beach. Thank goodness we met Keith on our first night--seriously, we all agreed he was sent from above! From the start, Keith went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was there for every single ride we needed, always on time, professional, and incredibly personable. But beyond that, he brought the energy, the laughs, the best music and the best vibes! He wasn't just a driver--he became a true friend to all of us. Keith made sure we felt safe, cared for, and stress-free the entire trip. We found the quality and variety at the Oceanview buffet much better. The hot dogs at the poolside grill were pretty atrocious, as were the daily snacks brought to our room in concierge class. The main dining room didn't have any supplements, but we were told if we asked for seconds on something like the lobster, there would be an additional charge. Room service also had an additional fee unless it was for continental breakfast. We got a balcony room (8124) for the first time ever and "concierge class". I think the main reason to book a balcony is to enjoy the scenery in Alaska. However, we found ourselves by the windows in the lounges and took the Hubbard expedition tour while the ship was spinning for Hubbard glacier views (where the balcony would have come in handy). In retrospect, because we did these things, we could have done without the balcony. "Concierge class" consisted of a sit down lunch day 1, an in room daily snack, and an invite to a couple events on the heli pad. There were hairs in our drawers when we arrived. Everything else looked pretty clean around the ship. Turndown service with a chocolate daily, but no towel animals. Service everywhere was cordial and got us what we needed when requested. The entertainment was ok. The highlight for me were the specialty artists (acrobats) during the dancing shows. The guest speaker Brent Nixon was good too. This was our first Celebrity cruise. Celebrity is supposed to be a notch up from the others: Royal, Princess, Holland, Norwegian, Carnival. We did not find that to be the case.

We went from a long, stressful travel day to anxiety ridden panic for 2.5 hrs b/c we weren't sure if we had a ride to our hotel 45 minutes away at 10pm. By the grace of God, our angel Emanual showed up! I'm not sure how it works in Puerto Rico, but I know that drivers have a option of picking and choosing their jobs in the STATES and because this was last minute, far away, late at night, of course no one wanted to do it, I'm sure. For 2.5 hrs Christa was freaking out. When we landed and saw Emanual confirmed our pick up!!! He lifted 1000lbs off her shoulders. You could see the instant relief Emanual gave her before we even met him. He greeted us with a smile and a great personality, even though it was late. It's our first time there, and he was extremely helpful and full of information on the way to the hotel. Not only was he a safe driver but he was also a knowledgeable tour guide. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Reserve and hotel uses this company. That's how we got introduced to them. We may not always stay at the Ritz Carlton but we will 1000% be using this car service and requesting Emanual every visit
