The ice creams included several flavors from each Hershey's and Penn State Creamery. The menus listed many toppings (e.g., butterscotch, hot fudge, pineapple, marshmallow, Oreos, and gummy worms). The ice creams could be put inside cones or cups or made into sundaes, shakes, and floats. I also noticed Italian ice on the menu. My husband and I are graduates of Penn State, so I ate three flavors of the Penn State ice creams. My husband opted to buy Moon Pie from the candy section. Everything tasted very good. My four extended family members ate two ice-cream cones in the flavors of cookies 'n cream and tie dye and one Allegheny River sundae that contained vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, crushed Oreos, gummy worms, sprinkles, and a cherry. They also went on a shopping spree in the candy section and bought a bag full of various candies. They enjoyed their treats and had fun. One recommendation that I have is to offer a different Dubai chocolate bar. The ones that we bought did not compare to the Dubai chocolate that I previously purchased elsewhere.

The penuche fudge was delicious, but also quite sweet (on the verge of being too sweet). When describing what the fudge tastes like, the shop owner said it is similar to a Werther's caramel. I agree; there is definitely a caramely taste. I tried a sample of the plain milk chocolate which was absolutely amazing. The triple chocolate fudge is also great and consists of white, dark, and milk chocolate. The next fudge I got was the peanut butter chocolate fudge. It is made with Belgian milk chocolate (all the chocolate they use is Belgian). The chocolate flavor is perfectly sweet. The peanut butter flavor is strong and creamy. The texture is on point in both of the fudges. And, the price is quite reasonable with a 1/4 pound costing $5. Finally, the chocolate covered popcorn was also great. A whole bag is just $3! The chocolate is by far the best part of this sweet treat. I believe it is the same high quality milk chocolate they use in their fudge. The popcorn itself was okay, but it was too buttery in my opinion. All in all, I will definitely return to the Boulevard Sweet Shoppe. The service is friendly, there is a great sweet selection, and the flavors are quite good. My package took 10 days to arrive at the post office and then 1 day to be delivered to my home. Cordial strawberries ($21) - 5 stars - My box included 6 strawberries that were surrounded by juices and covered in milk chocolate. I had not previously eaten cordial strawberries, so they were a surprise to me! These strawberries tasted very sweet and delicious, but when I bit into them, a large amount of juice dripped out! If you buy these cordial strawberries, make sure that you eat them over a plate and have a paper towel nearby. Towards the bottom of the sundae, it did get a bit too sweet with chocolate fudge but was still good. Almost $7 for a sundae is a bit expensive, but the quality and the size of the double scoops is huge so it's worth it.
