I am writing this after just a single visit, so please check this place out in person--your impression might be completely different from mine. We ordered two cocktails and a Cheese Pizza to share. The pear, caramelized walnuts, honey, gorgonzola, white sauce and mozzarella is always a delightful combination. I don't order mixed drinks often, but the moment and the place felt right, so why not. The prices on the menu were rather high for the Polish reality. Later, I thought our food was definitely overpriced for what we got. Not only did our order arrive nearly an hour after we placed it, but it looked more like flatbread pizza rather than a regular pie. It was okay food for a late snack, but the pear was cut paper thin, some nuts were burnt and the whole thing was too sweet because there was too much honey. Its size was also much smaller than the pizzas we usually get from other places. Drinks? I'm not sure. We tasted our cocktails trying to figure out whether there was any alcohol in it. I tried Pornstar Martini for the first time. Our server told me to pour the shot of Prosecco, served alongside, into the glass, so everything is mixed together. I later learned that this was completely wrong, or at least, it wasn't correct according to the traditional way of drinking this particular cocktail. She also never checked on us whether we needed anything. Perhaps she completely forgot about us and our pizza. That's why we waited so long. In our case, it wasn't a big deal, but for the first time ever, it wasn't my camera that "ate" first. My final thoughts? You'd better have a thick wallet if you plan on bringing a date here. In the end, all you can do is hope that the food and drinks turn out to be just as wonderful as you expected. We had a great time catching up with my friend, no regrets. I chose a seat with a beautiful view of my sister against the wine wall:). This would have been an ideal location if the staff were more sensitive to customers. Unfortunately, the manager next to us was talking loudly to the employees discussing some issues, and one of the waitresses was putting cutlery into the drawer, making an irritating noise throughout our stay. They acted like we weren't even there. O well. We waited for our food longer than we expected while our 1.5 hour clock ticked away. The Pizza Parma was good. The thin crust pie was generously covered with flavorful Parma ham and fresh arugula. It is always a perfect combination. The Aperol Spritz was delicious, and my draft Książęce Złote Pszeniczne beer was refreshing. Both drinks are quite popular lately in Kraków. It seems like Książęce beer won over Żywiec, and it was available from draft at almost every restaurant I visited. Książęce beer is produced by the Tyskie brewery. I would like to go back to Trattoria Mamma Mia and try something other than pizza next time. Making a reservation is a good idea. Let's not forget this.

I also don't understand why they were making such a big deal about having reservations. I wanted to grab lunch the day before, but only tables downstairs in the empty basement were offered. Now in all fairness, this was our first time in Polen, so maybe it was a Polish risotto and that's the way they do risotto in Poland. But then again, you should at least know how to season the food. But for me a carbonara should be a carbonara otherwise call it something else. I've had both carbonara and risotto in Italy and other European countries, and of course it's never as good as in Italy, but in most cases it's good, or at least acceptabel, but this was ways off.
