Would only offer an itch cream I can get over the counter. I was told if it continued to ooze to call in 3 days for the prescription for infection. Dr Cate called in the itch ointment and wanted me to be reseen and to pay another office visit 2 days later for something that after 2 weeks should have been a no Brainer prescription for infection. I do not take any prescription medications and rarely go to the Dr. His notes were insufficient and of course he left out saying I could call in 2 days and he would call in the prescription. I will never go to that Clinic again. My regular Dr moved and so will I.

He sent me for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound, yet the results came back negative. Dr Hemmersmeier then ordered an MRI, which led to a biopsy that showed cancer. It's an aggressive form, yet Dr Hemmersmeier caught it so early and was persistent with followup testing. I needed a bilateral mastectomy, but because it was caught so early, my prognosis is excellent. In addition to this particular example, he has been a wonderful family doctor for my kids, husband, and my parents.

The treatment is in a contract from the VA for 6 sessions, that has a stop date and then if needed they need to resubmit for more if needed. After my last session I talked to them about this, and they said on my last appointment which was supposed to be tomorrow 8/26 they would go and submit for more services. I get a call today on the 25 telling me my services ended on the 18th of the month. do I want to cancel? I am so ticked off as I would have scheduled my appointments accordingly. This is so inept regarding the person submitting the request to the VA, as well as managing the time frame on the appointments as I am in pain all day, and night. No one at the scheduling desk knew about the end date, and neither did I. This is how this place takes care of the veterans who are in pain. I will let my referring doctor know, as well as community services. The person who takes care of the billing and submits the treatment request to the VA virtually screwed me over. I will also be calling the VA outpatient services department to make a formal complaint.

I was taken back to the exam room within 5 minutes of checking in. I waited maybe another 5 minutes max for the doctor to come in. My entire visit took less than 40 minutes and that is unheard of in the medical world. Kudos to the them for being so efficient and yet warm and friendly. Highly recommend them if you need a family physician.

Not sure if the Kaysville clinic staff lied about my bloodwork being lost, but it certainly seemed suspicious, especially in light of how unresponsive they have been in the past.

The first time was Aug through Sept 2021 and the second was Feb through March 2022. I had my left hip replaced and then my right knee replaced. The nurse who saw me was Holly. She is laid back, knowledgeable, attentive, assertive, kind, and effective. When things are good, she tells you they are good and when they are not good, she immediately gets support from her network to be sure what she is considering is the correct approach! NOTHING gets by Holly! Then you have Brad and Curt, physical therapists. You couldn't have better orthopedic physical therapists in your corner! In the past when I have had physical therapy, their theories may have been correct but their methodologies were so poor that I came away hating the whole experience! That has NOT happened with Brad and Curt. They push for results but are so thoughtful and considerate about not pushing too much! And, if they can't help any more at home, they recommend that the patient go to the facility for further treatment! Curt is savvy and sneaky with his ability to converse while manipulating your joint. Suddenly you've either related or heard a great story and your knee is at 90 degrees but you didn't feel any pain! That's the secret...caring and compassion! They know that at Community Nursing Services and I recommend them Highly!
