They have a corner area for the kids with toys and a table with chairs. A must to keep kids occupied. This Dr. reminds me of the old school doctors in a good way. He takes handwritten notes and at the end gave me a handwritten note of his conclusions. WOW, When was the last time you got one of those? I arrived and didn't sit very long in the waiting room. I was approached by the man himself and he shook my hand and took us back to his office to talk things over. I know right, the Doctor coming to get his own patients. It took me years of trying every other dentist to find Dr. Christensen. He is the rare combination of excellent knowledge, skill and caring. He keeps up with the latest techniques and equipment, publishes in scholarly dental journals, but also treats each patient like an individual. He remembers me when I come in and takes a moment to catch up. He is great with people who are a little hard to get a long with and is patient with my nervousness. I feel pain pretty easily, and he is the first dentist to find the right balance between too much and too little novocaine. He will not do work that doesn't need to be done, but he will also not let something go until it has caused problems with other teeth or with your gums. I don't trust many people, but I do trust him. I wish we could clone Dr. Christensen, because he is going to retire in a few years, and there is no other dentist as dedicated and caring.
