The beers are delicious, ice cold, with some unique variations besides your standard IPA's. The Casked English porter was my favorite, even poured out of an old fashioned Cask pump style tap! This spot is so cool! The inside is so welcoming and the vibe is perfect. There's a walk-up bar to order anything and plenty of tables or bar seats. They do serve some food bites, but not many (pretzels, chips, etc). Beer was fantastic! read more

I am so glad there's a true microbrewery in PC now. Nestled in what otherwise looks like an industrial area, I almost missed it while trying to find it in the snow. When we walked in, we were able to find seats (although there aren't many). They have a vast variety of beers on tap and some in cans. I started with the Laser Kiwi (IPA). I liked it, but I also wanted to try the Extroversa (sour). The Extroversa was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet and not too sour, almost the Goldilocks beer of sours. It's actually sippable and wouldn't be too much on a hot summer day. The servers here were great and they are a very dog friendly place. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in the area. read more

Stumbled upon this place on my way back to my hotel from a stroll to downtown/main street and I'm so happy I decided to pop-in. The beers are amazing; they have a phenomenal hazy ipa (NOTHING BUT LASERS) that I loved. The establishment is very laidback, garage like ambience - with a view or the mountains in the distance. Filled with locals and a knowledgeable and friendly bartender; I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. I'll definitely swing back by next time I'm in park city. read more

Came in for the 1st time on a recommendation no greeting just asked for our drivers license. Asked questions about the beers on tap the bartender gave me the wrong info till another customer corrected her on the beer. Seemed more about taking an order rather than talk about the beers or the brewery. No warm greeting either coming in or leaving. Stumbled across this brewery and so glad we did! It's one of the very few breweries in Park City. Ambiance was really nice and the owner has his cute little pup walking around greeting all the guests. One of our highlights indeed! We live in PC and have tried Offset many times. We ride our bikes from home and arrive. We have never had a welcoming reception whatsoever at the bar. First experience was my husband waiting for 25 minutes whilst he was ignored by the barman. We just went to them recently because we know people rate it really highly and we want to love it. Offset do great community things. It's in our neighborhood. Again greeted frostily at the bar. Lastly, we were drinking our beers with nobody sat at the table beside us, and said barman proceeded to spray cleaner onto the table, and it sprayed towards me not very thoughtful, rather offputting. I loved the food options while limits they have a great Euro flare ... the ambience is wonderful. read more

Right now this is the best brewery in Utah. I spend allot of time at the breweries in SLC and they just don't compare. Offset is brewing beer that could rival other regions even the PNW. The Dopo pale ale and the dark czech lager are excellent. The canned IPA phone it in is nicely balnced IPA at 6.7%. Most brewerys in Utah make IPAs in the 8% to 10% range and they are down right horrible. read more

Located inside part of a large non-descript building in a mazy parking lot "offset" by similarly non-descript buildings, finding Offset Bier is a treasure hunt. Without the helpful strategically placed sandwich boards, it would be easier to find Dr. Jone's warehoused ark of the covenant. But dang is it so worth it! Beer that tastes fresher than the prince of Bel Air. Seriously fresh beer! FRESHER THAN BERRIES PICKED FROM THE VINE! If perfectly crafted beer was an endangered animal this would be its sanctuary. The beers are absolutely astounding-- do they have a freakin' friar monk chained in the basement breaking brews? My personal fav is the Roto. If only saying 'fresh beer' 3 times would make a Roto appear! It's that Beetlejuicy. One can dream. The Roto is true nectar of ye gods. Relaxed imbibing with a wafer-thin body and a crisp dry finish. One can hear the sweet melody of 'peaceful easy feeling' just by putting an ear near the frothy foam atop. The glassware for this beer has a spiral jetty etched into in the bottom which encourages a bliss-inducing bubbling vortex on par with those seen in a typical flute of champagne. Forget rosè.. roto all day! According to Websters 'bier' is a movable frame on which a coffin or corpse is placed before burial or cremation or on which it is carried to the grave. Kinds makes sense since they have succeeded in sending bad beer to its grave. buh-bye. To be fair 'bier' is also German for beer. Attractive space; the antonym of liminal. Wonderfully inviting ambience. Light and airy with modern, comfortable furniture. Clean lines. A pristine minimalist approach to the interior design makes the focus the beer. Very welcoming bar and ultra-friendly staff. This place is an instant classic-- nirvana for anyone that enjoys quaffing quality brews and contemplating contemplative pints. I'm a craft beer enthusiast... ok, perhaps even more than an enthusiast. I've been visiting Park City on an annual basis most of my life for skiing, and as wonderful of a place this is, a major downside is finding good beer is a struggle. Super old & oxidized beer is the standard. It's not entirely the fault of the brewers here, the State of Utah makes it very difficult for brewers to get fresh beer to its consumers. Finally, the struggle of finding great beer in Park City is now over. Offset is making lagers of precision & character that stand up against German / Czech / US counterparts. Their IPA's (& LIPA's) showcase distinct hop varietals, are made with great attention to detail, and of great importance the beer is super fresh. The staff is warm, fun & knowledgeable. The atmosphere is modern & cozy. This place is what happens when passionate & talented people have the chance to make their mark. As an out of state beer connoisseur, I can confidently state this place has LEGIT beer. They do a lot of different styles well, all in a small yet cool space.
