Andrea is a magician! My 2 year old Vizsla has been struggling to get to grips with a few commands and behaviours meaning that he would never walk to heal, on or off lead; jumped up at everyone to say hello; had selective hearing on recall when distracted by people, dogs or balls. Despite lots of time, effort and money being spent on other training including two previous residential training courses, none of them were able to make anywhere near the progress that Andrea has made in the course of only 2 weeks. Since coming back, my dog has been able to walk to heal, off lead with me next to busy roads, past other dogs and adults and kids. Instead of panicking and rushing to keep him away from other people, I now know I can ask him to come back to me which he will do straight away. Throughout the course of the 2 weeks, I received brilliant communication, photos and videos everyday and Andrea never failed to answer all my questions thoroughly, patiently and quickly. Andrea is extremely knowledgeable and professional in training the dogs but it's also very obvious that he really cares for them too, so not only is my dog much better behaved and under control, he is happier and I already have a better relationship with him. Off-Leash K9 was really responsive administratively and helpful in connecting me with our dog trainer Andrea, which we would recommend to dog owners of reactive dogs. We did one-on-one coaching sessions for aggression with Andrea. He has a wealth of knowledge about dogs, and a high degree of empathy for them. Over the coaching sessions, we learnt about our dog's psychology and how we can train both ourselves and our dog to best manage the aggression. Andrea often stayed past the 1 hr lesson, and would reach out via text to check in and respond to questions. He clearly cared for our dog and our issue. Because he has a lot of knowledge to soak in and learn from, it was also helpful when we'd prepare questions in advance and sit down and talk it through with him and structure what we'd hope to get out of the session. If you have a partner or co-owner, a tip would be to have two people at the training sessions to note things down as there's a lot of useful nuggets he would say you'd want to record. From what we've learnt from him, a lot of training with a dog is training of the human, so I'd really recommend one-on-one coaching sessions rather than board and train so you as the owner learns and also builds trust in yourself and from the dog in managing the situation. read more

Andrea is one of the nicest human beings you could ever possibly meet. We are forever grateful to him for how our dog Hugo has come home and the training that Andrea took him through. Despite working with two trainers previously, we saw little to no improvement and was feeling deflated in our training. We struggled with off leash heel, lead manners, recall and general reactivity to other dogs on occasion. I'm just 2 weeks with Andrea, Hugo is a changed dog-everything we outlined as an issue was addressed in great detail by Andrea. Hugo has come back walking perfectly on/off lead, recalling away from other dogs and in general a calmer natured dog even being a 1 year old Samoyed. What we loved about Andrea's approach is that he took into account Hugo's age, nature and breed with all the training, he also bonded so well with Hugo and treated him as if he was his own which meant that Hugo enjoyed his time with him along with many belly rubs. We received daily updates in the form of videos, pictures and voice notes updating us on Hugo's progress and this allowed us to follow along. On the pick-up day we spent over 2 hours with Andrea and he took us through all the tools and methods used for us to carry it on, we cannot recommend Andrea enough. read more

What can I say about Andrea, other than he is honestly brilliant at his profession with dog training!! We left Blue, our 2yo husky/chowchow/whippet cross breed with Andrea for a week to rehabilitate certain behaviours - mainly leash reactivity. His training not just focused on Blue, but also on us as pet owners to watch for Blue's body language cues, knowing how to motivate himp as well as encouraging stronger bonds, establishing problem-solving skills and boosting Blue's confidence. Andrea has made such a positive impact on all of our lives. I love how much he loves Blue and brought out his potential. The positive changes we have immediately noticed are incredible and we are so grateful that Andrea has been able to share his skills, understanding and teaching with us. I took my Pug x Boston Terrier to Andrea for the 8 week reactivity course. I am thoroughly pleased with the change I have seen in my dog. Andrea was clear that while changing Nellie's behaviour was important, the priority was correcting my behaviour in situations that typically end badly. Seeing dogs on my walks always struck panic in me, but I now see dogs when walking and look at it as an opportunity to keep Nellie improving. I have been shown how to safely approach dogs and ways in which to keep Nellie engaged with me rather than her focussing on the other dogs. The bond has also vastly improved between Nellie and I. I have been given tools and methods to control Nellie's reactivity, while also seeing her reactivity progressively decrease. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is struggling and feel somewhat hopeless about their situation as Andrea does fill you with confidence about how to improve and correct the problems. read more

Andrea took my 6 month old Giant Schanuzer puppy under his wing for 2 weeks boarding and what a great decision that was! That two week period was completely transformational in her development. She went from being tough and reactive on the lead with no off leash recall to being a predictable and far more engaged puppy! Andrea was incredibly communicative and genuinely cares about the dogs in his care - this was clear from the outset and we felt extremely comfortable and pleased through the whole experience. I had done extensive research before deciding on putting our puppy in Andrea's care and I'm extremely happy we waited for a free slot. We booked our springer spaniel in for a weeks training with Andrea to help with lead training, recall and 'drop/ leave it' as we're due to have a baby this summer so we needed some extra help to ensure the safety (of our puppy and baby) on walks. Andrea was incredibly welcoming, showed us where our puppy would be living and made sure she was comfortable and relaxed. Andrea's training was incredible, he is SO knoweldgable about training dogs and shows so much affection when he's training them. One week later and Andrea is still kindly giving us pointers on how we can best continue the training to ensure the best results in the long term! Andrea was fantastic with our dog, Bella, a lively lab cross. He understands dogs instinctively and helped us understand Bella's perspective. It's been a revelation in terms of walking Bella, which I now look forward to, and she walks by my side rather than always pulling ahead. He's taught bella and us to reduce her reactivity to motorbikes and other dogs, and even got her to sit quietly while we go to a cafe or pub! I can now have her off leash with confidence. Andrea has done a really great job with our 19 month dog. she used to pull on the lead which made it difficult to go anywhere with her because she's fairly big and very strong. Now she knows what we are asking and remembers what she's Supposed to do so resets herself and concentrates more on us and not on what she can smell! She's given us a new freedom to go out with her knowing she will behave. Really brilliant work Andrea for that and much more. read more

Andrea was fantastic at improving my rescue dog's recall. She is a very prey driven dog and it was becoming increasing difficult to get her back after letting her off the lead on account of her fixation with squirrels. After 4 lessons with Andrea her recall is hugely improved. Andrea has a real passion and love for dogs. He is also a natural teacher. Definitely recommend him. read more

Andrea was fantastic with our 10 month Springer Spaniel. Before Harry's 1 week board and train he would pull on lead and had lost his recall . We no longer have any issues taking Harry and on lead and his recall is fantastic.
