That being said, the customer service was excellent, they helped me track the missing part and also gave me a small refund for the damage as it was not severe enough for me to return. All in all I am really pleased with the desk, the motor is quiet and smooth and I am hopeful that this will alleviate some of my back pain due to sitting all day!

The reason I gave this review 3 stars is because of the assembly of the bed. They had two men deliver the bed and assemble it together. It was not done right, drilled extra unnecessary holes in our wall to hold the headboard. Although these extra holes weren't visible after the headboard gets mounted but this shouldn't have happened if they were professionals. The headboard should have been mounted flushed to the wall form top to bottom but the way they did it was only flushed at the top and the bottom part of the headboard slanted and touches the wall. However the mistake was forgivable as these two men worked really hard to put it together. They initially came in our house and said it would be a very easy job that would take maybe 1.5 hour but ended up taking them over 3 hours. The other reason I didn't give it 4 stars was because we had requested chrome legs for the bed but instead the wrong type of legs came with it. Though it's a minor issue but it did cause inconvenience as one of us had to take work off to physically be home when they had to come back to the house to reinstall.

With that said, they do have a some pretty cool furniture, like sectionals that lock together magnetically to prevent the slip and slide effect (which is most likely to occur when you're at your drunkest). Their interior decorators are relatively young, and in my opinion relatively inexperienced. Of course, you have to take that with a grain of salt as their ideas are only as good as the line of products carried by the store.

I frankly pass by everything on my way home. However, I tend to drive up highway 27 to have dinner at Wok of Asia and rarely stop anywhere. Last Saturday, I felt the need to visit this Staples. It's in a large plaza with a Fortinos and Winners that I have frequented in the past. I pulled through a couple of parking spots. I then headed over to this store. I noticed that this store looked like it was about to close. Yep, I came in at 4:53 pm. I had seven minutes to figure out where the tax software was. Oops! Luckily, it was staring in front of me. It was in the printer section. All boxes were empty. A female staffer found me. I felt like I had found her. I asked where I could get the real box with everything that I needed to file my taxes. The display was at the checkout area. Nice! She was great leading me to the checkout. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. She was awesome! This tax software gets more expensive as the years pass. It's now $40 before taxes. Since I file income tax returns for both my parents and me, it's worth the investment. Fortunately for Hubs they also have tons of furniture, so he was able to find a {super cute} chair up front to relax in while I wandered. B/c my luggage could not accommodate all that I had seen I settled on a really beautiful picture frame to commemorate our visit to Toronto. Check out was super easy - seeing as how they had several cashiers available. And my frame, after $$ conversion was only $7. Yay for HomeSense!
