They always have what I need and things I didn't know I needed. The prices are far superior to Michael's and better than Curry's. Plus the discounts are great and the rewards program is solid too. Oh and did I mention it's animal friendly? I can take my dog for walks in Petsmart and Deserres, Oh and also the customer bathroom is pretty cool. And free bags, who needs to pay a nickel for a bag? One of my daughters said yes BUT AFTER IT BAKED THE FEET WERE SO UGLY AND WERE NOT STABLE AT ALL. I even paid to glaze them and called for the next two weeks to follow up. In terms of clothes, there are some good basics pieces and they're often cheaper than Uniqlo with similar or better quality. Some of it is a lot more Japanese in nature so the cuts and styles may be a bit different than what you're used to. They offer really great storage solutions for small to large sized items, with the containers being aesthetic as well. Way better than the stuff from Amazon. They have a lot of smaller sized boxes that are great for storing makeup and other toiletries. They also come in a bunch of different sizes and are somewhat modular so you can mix and match based on your needs. I love that the containers can fit into the lids because they have half and quarter sized ones. They carry a toiletries brand called Public Goods that has a lot of no nonsense stuff that doesn't have a lot of additives in it and is refillable. It can be more expensive than other green alternatives though. They often have in-store deals. At the time that I went, you could get a face towel for a cheaper price if you spent over a certain amount.

This store is great for scrapbooking products because they have aisles upon aisles of stickers to add to your collection. They also have tons of baking supplies (mostly Wilton products) that will be more than sufficient to aid you in your baking hobby. What I don't like about Michaels is that their merchandises are pretty expensive. Make sure to have a 40% or 50% off coupon when you want to buy something. This coupon helps make their merchandises more affordable. What I do like is that they offer cake decorating classes during the week for really cheap. I completed two of their Wilton cake decorating classes for about $20 each. The reason why I deducted one star is due to the slow customer service at the cash registers. Lines can get pretty long when there are only two registers open. They need to open up at least another register to get the lines moving faster.

I also needed a needle or something and she didn't want me to have to purchase a whole pack of needles for just the small toque repair that I needed so she located one for me, and also showed me an easy way to thread it! (fold it over first then stick it through the eye). I remember 'friendship bracelets' long ago and I think that if ever I needed to make another one I'd come here for the colour selection.
