I was referred to Sharon's shop by a friend. Sharon was great, loves what she does, and spent quite a bit of time with me choosing a particular frame for my painting. Admittedly, I left still shocked about the cost of framing, but with an appreciation that it does either emphasize the artwork OR does absolutely nothing for it. There was spookier stuff (not as spooky as like gaunt skeletal remains) and then there was the pastel colours of a cutesy Halloween. Finding things isn't hard at Michael's since the aisles are really well labelled. I was able to find really pretty card stock in foil and textured paper. They also had a lot of cutouts if there's a theme you're going for. Michael's also has a great 3D sticker collection. They have ones for a ton of cities and countries which is great for documenting your vacation! They only had one checkout lane open. Once a line started forming, another employee opened another POS to help us out. I was asked if I have a Michael's account. They can look you up by phone or email. Today, I dropped in to the Grand Opening celebration of the new store in Woodchester Mall. It's a very busy area with lots of free parking. Immediately upon entering the store, numerous beautifully signed framed photos of Toronto Maple Leafs (TML) star players lined a large wall. Plenty of other gifts to choose from. Everything in the store was 25% off and refreshments and cupcakes were served. I completed a ballot for an opportunity to win a grand opening prize. I also entered a $5 raffle for a chance to win a pair of TML tickets for an upcoming game. Staff were helpful, friendly and courteous.
