One thing that annoys me, and the reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5, is that the paint price lists can be a little misleading. They always put the price for series 1 paint (the cheapest) at the top, in a larger font, then all the other (higher prices) are listed underneath. Most of the time they don't organize the paint by series number either, which adds a fun level of tedium to every visit. Besides that, it's a pretty solid establishment, and I'm glad to have a local art supply store.

Parking is quite limited and it does get busy - but there are some spots behind the back to use. The place is on the 2nd floor - so you have to head up the stairs by the ends of the plaza. Very spacious inside with a clear section separating between the turfting and fluid bear. Staff were very nice and often gave tips to help you execute with ease. Service I did the fluid bear - which you can choose what size you want, along with figure. It'a set price - and you get to do as many different colouring setup as you like. Often times, you mix 2-3 colours and you let your creativity explore - where you pour it over top, section it out or just re-pour with new colouring. It's a pretty fun experience and perfect for those who aren't very artsy (like myself). Afterwards, they have to let it dry for at least 24-48 hours. So you do need to come back to pick it up - and it's nicely wrapped within a container and ribboning - so it can be a nice gift for display.

How it works: I supplied a design for my rug (mine is 20"x20") and picked out all the colours to match. The entire process took about 1.5 hours and another hour for the staff to trim, glue and put it altogether. It was such a fun experience to do with a date or with a group. I want to come back and make a larger size next time! Tips: Choose a simple design for your first time and try to avoid design with a lot of small details. Book an early time for larger sizes as it will take more time to tuft. We went around 5pm and finished by 6:30, went to grab dinner nearby and came back to pick up the final product. This large hobby, decor, arts & crafts supply chain has lots of ready made arts & craft items, decorations and just about any that can be classified as decor for any season or situation. If you don't have a particular area of interest but time on your hands, you can easily spend an hour browsing every aisle while letting your imagination run wild. Take a look at the hot specials for an incentive to buy! Staff are helpful and checkout was slow due to social distancing measures but efficient.

I have only visited this store in Mississauga a few times. I didn't realize that STC had one, so I dropped by to check it out. This store has a lot of cute and practical Japanese and Korean merchandise. It appealed to me. I especially like when you get a product that is both cute and practical. For instance, you could get Angie the booklight. Angie happens to be a purple anglerfish that allows you to read in darker areas. I also liked a bacon mousepad. It was adorable! There were beauty products, such as eyeshadow, hairbands, and facial masks. The prices were pretty good considering the assortment of shades that you got in the former. The selection of hairbands was limited. The facial mask varieties were excellent. This store had a lot of plushies. You can get boba ones in a variety of colours. They were cute and sweet. It also had the cutest PopSockets. The characters on them were rather large, so it may not appeal to everyone. I ended up getting a purple boba tumbler that was heavily discounted. The fact that it had a diamond-cut lid and was purple drew me in to buying it. The price was also right. I had a friendly woman at the checkout. She advised that sale items were final, so exchanges or refunds weren't allowed. I understood this policy, as I had checked that my tumbler was in good shape before I committed to buying it. I paid with a debit card. All went well. My tumbler is pretty cool. It's cute and it keeps cold drinks cold for many hours. I enjoyed shopping at this store. Aisles are super wide and there's no pressure to buy as you walk up and down each section of displays. My purchase included a request for a helium balloon. Service counter staff were friendly and courteous. Checkout was efficient! Social distancing measures and signage were displayed for staff & customers to see and practice.

The customer service person even suggested a package of balloons that would save money. They have good hours they open early. I really needed that to be able to pick up the balloons the day of the party. There were a lot of customs shopping for Halloween. They have enough selection that your party won't look like the neighbours. If my next several visits are as good, the rating will change to a 5.
