Worst case you can call them up before driving over to browse. I would go early, at least 2 weeks before Halloween to ensure the widest selection but I have also dropped in 1 day before to find a small accessory to finish my costume. I suggest going with some clue as to the direction/theme of your outfit or plan to spend an hour just wandering the packed aisles. Have fun!!!

Bayfield temporary set up location…read more I just got back from the Spirit Halloween store. I mean, I am a sucker for all things spooky, and this place did NOT disappoint. The selection of costumes was amazing. The staff friendly and helpful. The store itself was super organized and easy to navigate, even with all the craziness going on. And can we talk about the decor? The lighting, the music, the cobwebs... it was all so on point. I ended up buying a top gun Maverick jacket. The price was a bit a steep! One thing that annoys me, and the reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5, is that the paint price lists can be a little misleading. They always put the price for series 1 paint (the cheapest) at the top, in a larger font, then all the other (higher prices) are listed underneath. Most of the time they don't organize the paint by series number either, which adds a fun level of tedium to every visit. Besides that, it's a pretty solid establishment, and I'm glad to have a local art supply store.

Some of their art supplies could be more competitive with the pricing of the same products from places like office depot, but the staff is quite knowledgeable, and they try to keep up with trends.
