I wear a wide width shoe and made a point to remind our cashier of that when the left shoe was asked for at checkout. (They leave only the right shoe for try on due to theft. Which I understand completely) About two days later since I was home that day with not a lot to do I decide I needed to break in my shoes. Once I put them on I knew something wasn't right. I took them off and then realized I had a right shoe in a wide width and a left shoe in a regular width. Within a few days I went back to return them, but instead of walking out with two pair, I left with one. They were out of the other pair of shoes. Which basically means someone else now owns a pair of shoes of different widths. This store is located in a mall. Being at the mall during back to school days is a major pain. I can get past this but as I walked around I noticed another customer asked for help from. One of the sales ladies. Not once did the sales lady speak to the customer even when the grateful customer thanked her. I then walked up to pay for my item and a different lady behind the counter had an attitude. I paid for my garment, thanked her and walked away. Again, the Cato representative never thanked me or made any attempt to show appreciation for my business. I will not return to this location!
