I ordered things from their website and I never received them. I checked the order and it said they threw it away.

Their checkouts continue to be RIDICULOUSLY SLOW. And they have a Manager standing there looking at the lines growing longer and longer. He's the most clueless minion I've seen. Why do customers have to get upset for the stupid idiot to become alert enough to call for help. The attitude of employees in that store is NOT customer focused. read more

Well managed store! We moved here a couple of months ago from Central Texas and of course had to scope out Hobby Lobby. Very happy with this location. Friendly, courteous employees, lines move quickly, clean and stocked, happy atmosphere. Good to know and we'll be frequent customers. read more

We came to Hobby Lobby to spend Christmas gift cards! Being as it was right after the holidays, the store was pretty busy. But we were able to find what we wanted (on sale!) in short order, and although the checkout lines were long (even with multiple registers open), our line moved pretty quickly. The cashier was courteous, and you gotta love that 40% off any one item coupon. If we're back in Tyler and need crafty supplies, we'd come back here. read more

I had a framed retirement presentation with two Military mini Guidons, and a nice plaque all behind glass. The glass had broken during a move and the presentation was dusty and needed rematted. I took this in and the guy in the frame department didn't care too much to help. He said he could blow it off with an air hose. I told him that it needed washed. He said that he could only blow the dust off. Jokingly, I asked about a bathroom, and I'd take the two guidons off and hand wash them with soap. He said "No, I can't let you do that". No feeling of customer service. I took it to another frame shop down the road and ther were very accommodating. Hobby Lobby is great for supplies, but their frame shop needs a class in customer service and in professional framing. read more

I really love this Hobby Lobby however they do nothing to manage the wearing of masks. Out of everyplace I go in Tyler they have the worst compliance and do nothing. Additionally the lines are long with too many people standing less than 6 ft. Get it together management as you are becoming a super spreader site as we head into the holidays. The NEW Hobby Lobby needs some SERIOUS MANAGEMENT REVIEW! The lines are WAY too long (hire more people Hobby Lobby, OPEN more cash wraps!) RETURNS are a NIGHTMARE, just was in today, Monday am, stood in line 25 minutes before I even got close to the ONE RETURN cashier. A huge, terribly overweight man was called several times on the intercom, this man moves like a snail, even though there were 9 customers standing in the return line, waiting and waiting and waiting. I asked this, supposed manager, if returns could be done at any register, "no, the return registers are the only ones set up for returns and Mondays are a big return day for us "...........OK, HOBBY LOBBY, you have TWO RETURN cash wraps, only ONE was manned and it's a MONDAY, ADMITTEDLY a "busy return day for you"!! GET A CLUE!!!! YOUR manager needs some SERIOUS training in not only SCHEDULING, but MOVING FASTER when 9 customers have been standing in a line for over 25 minutes and he wants to snail, actually a snail could move faster, across the floor...........wow, FINALLY after several disgruntled customers said something, this "manager" offered to get behind the OTHER return cash wrap and DO SOMETHING! Get a clue guys, the cashiers say your business has BOOMED with the new store, that's GREAT, but if you want TO KEEP THAT BUSINESS, stop this kind of insult to your customers or they will shop elsewhere! I'm a retired retail manager of over 30 years, I could not BELIEVE how inefficiently this place is run! FIX IT Please, I do like shopping here but won't go thru that again. read more

Tons of employees on the floor, only 3 cash registers open- all with lines. It took several minutes to just buy one thing. I'd go back but I'd probably first look somewhere else for what I needed. read more

Hobby Lobby is the best craft/home decor store in America! They have everything you could possibly want and at the best prices. I frequent the fabric section and have never found more beautiful, high quality material at these prices anywhere! I thank them for their bold stance on their Christian beliefs; it is what puts them at the top of the market. God blesses Hobby Lobby! read more

I am a 76yo guy who infrequently needs something that I can only get at Hobby Lobby. I have been helped, with courtesy by any employee that I have approached for help. Must hav patience in the lines at times, but most of the time I only wait a few minutes until I can checkout. I applaud their stand on Sunday hours, btw, and their stance on Women's Rights. If, as one reviewer stated, it is none of Hobby Lobby's business about the kind of birth control an employee uses, then why should Hobby Lobby pay for something that is none of their business. We've made it a priority to shop at hobby lobby, they treated us well and had reasonable prices. We've been buying large 50$+ frames there for years and have spent thousands of dollars, as well as recommended the store to many of our friends. After so many frames, today I went to see if I could get one exchanged because it had broken in my car. The store manager came up and didn't even want to hear it, he patronized me in front of other customers, and employees. I was very embarrassed and left with my broken frame. I know it's not policy, but come on, we've spent so much in hobby lobby that one exception wouldn't hurt knowing that I've given so much of my money instead of getting them from Michaels, or Amazon. That's exactly what I'll be doing now though, I'll be taking my business to Michaels, and Amazon and never shopping there again, I'll also tell my friends to do the same. We do our best to be loyal to the businesses we love, but why would we if they don't take care of us. read more
