Just left your store in Wauwatosa, WI (located @ 124th/Burleigh)...very disappointed, angry, sad. I was standing there for quite some time to get some copies made. Today is Saturday, I get it. It's busy. There were two people ahead of me who were being helped--and I had planned to wait patiently as the prior customers were being helped. I have no problem with the wait time, my problem is this: while I was waiting two people entered the store to stand behind me. Immediately a stocky 30-something looking staff person set aside what he was doing to come and ask them what they needed. He helped the first woman--she needed something at the copy area. I said nothing as he assisted her. Then, the second woman came in carrying a computer. Again, he immediately dropped what he was doing to ask if she needed help, He took the computer from her and they headed to the service desk. At that point I let him know that I had been waiting. He asked me if I was there to pick up an order. I said no, I needed copies. He said the girl behind the counter would get to me next. That was enough. I left. You see, I am a black woman. The male staffer was white as were the two women who he helped. The girl behind the desk black. I am still a little bit in shock. It has been quite some time since I experienced such blatant racism. If I misread the situation this scenario at best can be re categorized as horrible customer service. I headed up the block to FedEx. Needless to say, they will get my future business. I needed some laminating sheets for work so I made a quick stop here. The store was clean and well stocked. It took me quite awhile to find the laminating sheets. Turns out I was on the total wrong side of the store. There were some associates around but I never really ran into anyone while I was scouting the aisles. Mostly all the associates were behind the help desks already helping customers. Once I found what I needed the cashier was friendly and I was on my way. read more

Aw man. No one knew how to help. Terribly understaffed. I dont really know.. Tried to get copies made.. they took my stuff.. and then asked me to wait while they helped someone "quickly" ship a package. 30 minutes later with an 8 month old... I just asked for my stuff back and bolted. read more

Not much to say, It's a specialty store so expect specialty prices. Good place to go when you have to find some certain kind of office supplies that a Wal-Mart doesn't have. read more

Went to Officemax to make a copy of some basic paperwork. No pictures, just text. There was blue ink on some of the originals. Went to the copier machine on the far left (there are two, I believe). I think I have used this machine in the past, with no issues. Made 1 copy of about 10-15 pages. Got to the register to pay. The bill was $161! NOT KIDDING. THAT IS ABOUT $10-$15 A PAGE. I paid it, but asked to talk to a manager. I complained. I was told that one copier is now designated for color copies (the far left one) and that Xerox charges them (OfficeMax) for color (so I should feel sorry for them?). I was like, post a sign or something. He said there was one. I DID NOT SEE ANY SIGN THAT SAID THE COPIER IS ONLY FOR COLOR AND THAT EACH PAGE WILL BE $10.
