Needed a printer cartridge. This place is awful. Dirty and cluttered. The people were not helpful. Carts were left in isles and planograms left unfinished. Asked for help and the guy just said we don't have it. End of story. Associates were leaning on the counters at the cash wrap and half the lights in the store looked burned out. read more

Miranda and Jose are rockstars. Couldn't have asked for a better service and commitment. I'll spare you all the long story but we had an emergency. They didn't put any orders aside they just worked twice as hard to fill the orders they already had and the one we frantically placed with a minutes notice. Walked in and instead of making it feel like favor they owned their service as the commitment they made working for Office Depot. Couldn't say enough about these two. read more

Absolute worst place to go to. First, no prices are on the desks because someone took them off, they say they have the desk then suddenly they don't have it and you have to order it. Types the wrong address, so he has to make a new order. I end up never getting a confirmation for the fixed address, and have to hunt down someone on customer service on the phone to find out where my desk is. Finally it gets sent 2 streets down and luckily the lady came to my door and told us she has our desk. Call Office Depot the day after and they tell us the desk is still on its way. They don't even know anything about it clearly. I finally go to put it together and it is broken. At this point I would rather just get my money back and go to a competent place. I went in and needed help printing 160 pages in color. The guy at the printing and copying was very rude, mocked me and told me he was just as confused as myself when I was asking him what I needed to do after I sign in. Then I waited with no one around me and was called do so my order I asked for the pages in color and told me the price and asked if I wanted it binded together, I then asked is it extra and he rolled his eyes and said "of course". I didn't know I couldn't ask questions when I'm paying $120 to print a free PDF. read more

Just sat up at the Pick-up counter for 5 minutes straight with two employees walking back and forth in front of me without the slightest acknowledgement by any personnel. I had to ask if I was in the right place before they went to the back and got my item. From the time I said something it took 20 seconds to get me out the door with my item and they didn't seem busy at all. If I would have gotten a "one moment sir, we'll be right with you" I wouldn't be writing this bad review. I was in the Office Depot in Midland today. The store is a mess! You feel like you are in a Dollar Store, you expect them to be messy and unorganized. Boxes and boxes of inventory sitting everywhere. I dont think its been cleaned in a very long time! I won't be going back, there's other stores!! It's pretty bad that a corporation as big as they are let their stores look like this one!! read more

To begin, I wish there was an option to offer 0/5 stars on here as opposed to the lowest being a 1. This location offered by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. It took roughly twenty minutes for one of the NINE associates behind the help desk to even notice that we were waiting for their assistance. Once they finally finished openly complaining to one another about their shift change duties- one associate, Myra, asked what we wanted. We explained what services we needed taken care of (and have had taken care of at this location before) and she said that they do not do that service and then proceeded to continue to ignore us as if we, as well as the other 15 people in line behind us, were invisible. Then another associate asked us if we needed help, then began to process our request, stopped half way through and said that his shift is now over so we had to wait for another of the associates (who were still dawdling behind the desk ignoring the growing line of customers) to finish helping us and complete our request. By no means were they understaffed, but the customers in need of the services that are supposed to be provided of this establishment were being under appreciated and completely ignored. I would honestly rather drive 5 hours to Dallas to find a different Office Depot location where they treat their customers with the timely service and respect they deserve. When I was finally approached by an associate, I purchased a laptop. I wouldn't say I felt completely satisfied with the young man who helped with the purchase. However, the young man who installed the software and walked me through another installation process was very commendable. Brian was knowledgable and handled my questions and concerns with maturity and confidence without treating me as though I were ignorant or beneath him. Brian is what all tech people should be like. I have had the opportunity to come to this specific Office Depot on several occasions. I do not live in Midland and am usually in a rush to get done with everything I need to before I have to go home. In this store, I have never had any problems getting help when I have asked. They do not intrude when I am shopping, but they are always very pleasantly ready to help me when I need it. I really appreciate the employees in this store. read more

OH my goodness!!! Never have I ever had an experience like this at ANY Office Depot. I was visiting from El Paso, Texas and decided to take advantage of the sale this week. Granted I went in the first day of the sale and the stipulation was the sale items were PER HOUSEHOLD. I went into this location with my good family friend who was purchasing items for her children (they live here in Midland, TX - their household). Then we went to pay and the associate, named Jimmy (he didn't even have a badge, but I demanded his name), said that we couldn't purchase because we were considered one household, my friend and I. I told him no we weren't because I Iived in El Paso and she lived here in Midland. I even said we would prove it by showing our id's. He said no and that they would get fired if they allowed that. How dumb and so my friend had to leave all her stuff. I purchased mine because I am a school teacher and I purchase because I have to. I will never come back to this location and will think twice in visiting even the EP location. So disappointed. The associate, "Jimmy" was very unprofessional and rude. read more
