I was shopping at the Office Depot in Lees Summit on Sunday, 2/9/2025. I needed to print some documents. I went to the print desk and there was a woman and her daughter standing there waiting for help and BEN - the Office Depot empoyee was on the phone (I later found out he was the manager on duty). He appeared to be on hold as he was speaking to the woman and her daughter. I asked if I needed to stand in line to use the printer (I had never done this before) and he was SO RUDE! He said I am trying to have a conversation on the phone and I only have 2 ears. (he said more but I was so shocked I didnt hear it all) The woman and her daughter looked at me in disbelief as well. I apologized and stated that I thought he was on hold. He continued to say rude things to me for interrupting him. I finished my printing and apoligized again. .He said nothing.. I went to check out with other items that I had and I told his coworker how rude he was to me. She said oh he is rude to everyone including me. She said that customers complain all the time and nothing is done about it. I filled out my survey to let Office Depot know how rude he was and haven't heard anything back. You know, it only takes a minute to be kind. There is no reason to be spoken to the way I was. I would like to say I will never ro to office depot again but I know some day I will have to but I will avoid people like BEN! read more

I give this location a 0 because of the print department. The "print manager" as she kept reminded she was did not help at all. I put in an order and was told I'd get a call and never did. I decided to call them and when I did, I spoke with an employee who told me that my print job would be ready the next day and to call back the next day. When I called back the next day, the print manager told me that there was nothing she could do for me, despite the miscommunication between her and her team. She was rude and not helpful at all. I decided to call OfficeMax in Olathe and the person I spoke with in the print department was very helpful. I recommend the Olathe location 100%. Also, while I was there, there was an older woman who needed help sending information to their email, and the employee refused to help her because it was almost time for the employee to get off. would not recommend Lees summit location! read more

I visited the store on 8/11/2024. a cashier Blair and his manager Beth helped me. I was purchasing Avery labels. They were 2 for $30. I just needed one. It rung up to $25! I told him about the sticker price. He offered a price match. I had no idea Office Depot did this. Beth helped him match the Amazon price and it only cost $8.28! Talk about a savings! I was able to create great kids' financial literacy kits with them. Thanks for the GREAT customer service Blair and Beth! You're such a blessing! read more

My printer crashed and I had four packages with a deadline that needed shipping. I called and got Sara the store manager and explained my dilemma. She suggested that I come in and she would see if she could help. She was friendly and not only helped me set up printing my shipping labels, she also helped me prepare the packages for shipping. Horrible customer service here! I got there at the printing center and the guy didnt even seem like he wants to help! It just upset me because im not the type of person to get mad so easy but i was just upset being pregnant standing there for 15mins and the guy didnt seem like he cares. Office Depot in Lee's Summit, where you can get pens and paper and 30 kinds of sticky notes. The staff always seems disinterested in helping and outside of back to school season, it always seems empty. In today's day and age where you can order all your office supplies online with little or no postage, why bother going into the store unless you just want to try out all the pens? read more

I purchased a costly and comfortable desk chair which was put together for me properly. I took the chair home and sat and enjoyed. Lately the arm-rests have been loose, so I called the store, explained the condition of the chair, and was told to bring it in for free adjustment. Which I did, and was treated well. I have used office depo for years without a problem till I went to this lees summit location. The employees are not helpful and act like you're putting them out to ring up your purchases. They also do not like to accept Office Depot coupons. The manager told me she'd do it this time but next time I'd have to make 2 purchases from my almost $200.00 worth of purchases today, even though I told her that would be inconvenient since I was paying by credit card. If you want to receive good service do NOT go to this location-I should have just bought off the internet! read more

I am beyond impressed! I used the print and copy services to have them print off my wedding invitations. My fiance and I are working with a tight budget so we had chosen to print our own invitations. Office Depot has excellent pricing and did an AMAZING job on our invitations! I had three separate documents to print out and in the interest of saving money had told them to just cut them in half or quarters, leaving uneven white borders around the invites. I also noticed that when I had them print samples, the border colors didn't come out the same, which I was fine with since I had done my best. When I picked up my order I was blown away! The staff had somehow managed to get all the border colors to match AND they had even cute them out so nicely so that the white edges were all even. They look so good and I'm so happy with them, I can't wait to send them out to our friends and family. I would absolutely use the print and copy services again! read more
