I used this company for many years in a few different places that I worked in. I had a great rep…read morewho would help me find anything and then would help me to find the items at a lesser cost. My rep, Brian Findley always expressed for me to contact him directly as he could find me the better pricing vs. me just ordering straight through the site. The sold business and office supplies. It appears they have moved more into furniture and the lack of customer service is severely lacking now. Today I reached out to see if I could get help ordering some products, they found for me in the past. I was pretty much pawned off and told I could find my items on Amazon. What company does this? When I expressed my disappointment, I was then told in so many words (see below) that they may not be a good fit for my company. My rep flat out lied and said that my last orders were a while ago (a year ago- I did not realize that you had to make so many purchases in a specific amount of time??) and most of that I returned. I RETURNED 2 ITEMS for which I did not ask for a refund, I put that money towards even more supplies. Sadly what was a great company that I recommend to many others is not the stand-up, helpful company that they once were. Such a sad loss as they were my go-to. Email I received from Brian Findley. From: Brian Finley: baf@velocitybp.com Hi Stephanie, My apologies! As much as I hate to say it, we may not be a good fit for you. Your last orders were last year in April and May, which I/we spent a lot of time helping you with, all to be returned. It may be easier for you to go to Office Max and select your items off the shelf. **Mind you this was I was referred to Amazon for my purchases and then stated that maybe I should go to an OfficeMax (which I wouldn't want to do because I need specific items they don't carry and work in an industry where I need more personalized service) **

It is good to know that he can service them as well, but it hasn't needed any work. He sells good machines but at least I know that there are service contracts available and his fees are reasonable. I would definitely recommend FOS to others. He can even do leases if needed so that is good to keep in mind as well. (I am NOT in CA. I'm in the Houston area)

I have the Konica Minolta c8000 press printer which is very expensive and extreamely hard to maintainant. Everytime I my printer run into problem I have to called a authorize dealer or Konica company to fix the printer. Everytime they come out they charge me min $155 plus tax for an hour. Functional Office system charge me only $85 an hour and I found that they have the same skill level just like the dealer for a lot less. They also very knowledgeable about the press c7000. They also very nice and take time for every small details. I also learn that if you lease a machine from them or buy it, and put it under maintainent contract they only charge ONE Penny yes 1 cent for each black and white copy and 5 cents for each color copy, they will provide everything, toner, drum, and if even when you have problem with your copier they will come out and fix it free of charge. I will definitely do that in the short future. I highly recommend this company, they very professional and very reliable.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! You have been warned!…read more My partner and I were moving into our new apartment and just needed a queen sized bed, frame and box spring. What could possibly go wrong? We ordered and got approved to finance. Our bed was supposed to be delivered "After 4pm" The delivery men didn't arrive until 7:30 pm. Set up was quick which led me to believe that the quality of the furniture is cheap ( it is) The bed was supposed to be a queen but it measured as a full sized bed. We called the store and showed them the measurements and this Danny davito looking ass b*tch said that we were wrong. She could show us the receipt and show that she ordered a queen size bed. The receipt is attatched After a back and forth, she said I could get another mattress, this time "king size" for an additional "$325" and it would take two days to deliver. Great, even though we needed a bed to sleep on the same night. I asked her if we could just return everything and get a king sized box spring and mattress. She said no, all sales are final and there are no returns. BUT WE WERE ABLE TO RETURN THE OLD FURNITURE as long as we paid more money. Sounds like a scam Currently we have been waiting 2 days for a manager to reach out and contact us which I know isn't going to happen. Now we are stuck in a financing agreement paying for a too small bed and cheap ass frame. No wonder there are bullet holes in the door. These people are liars and scammers.
