The last 3 times I've called into the store, the people have been very short with answers. I was calling to find out what Epson EcoTank printers they had in stock opposed to having to select a printer for pickup online & find out the printer is not @ the Eldridge store. I figured it would be easier if they went to the shelf & let me know before I drove to the store. The person was not willing to assist & hung up the phone. I also spoke to someone to inquire about USPS package pickups. Once again very rude when simply asking for a window of pickup times. 2020 Purchased a $500.00 HP Color Laser Jet Printer M479FD, print, copy, scan features and with 3 year maintenance agreement. The printer starting having issues after 1 1/2 years with issues: specifically jamming. A few sub-contractors of Office Depot/Max out, worked on printer and then walked off, never returned, Called again, then I have to get a new roller, before they could continue, ordered new roller $160, then the sub-contractors blamed me that the color cartridges not up to their specifications, even though I had originals. Even with another extended maintenance agreement, this printer sits dead in my home. 2025 Decided to give Office Depot one more chance, also since they are 5 mins from my home. Contacted the 800# and store, printers on sale, still need print, color, especially copy. First recommendation a black/white printer, again, color, print especially copy. They located a HP Color Printer Laser 3201dw got the 3 year maintenance plan. I can pick up at Office Depot local store, I did. Got it home, installed, NO COPY feature. Yes, tried several times to talk to 800 Customer Support, nothing, last agent hung up on me. So now, stuck with two printers that don't work and paid maintenance agreements. read more

I came here for an Amazon gift card which they had. The great thing is it was a $25-500 value one, not a 3 pack of $10 gift cards. They were superb. The gentleman that help me I went in with a booklet that I needed to make copies in color.. Instead of using the machine he did them for me and they came out perfectly. They were in a spiral and I figure that there was no way to take it off he managed to do that and keep my pamphlet in good order. Was in-and-out. I've been a customer with Office Depot for years and I'm sad to say this store has gone from bad to worse! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I go to this location for all my printing needs but the last couple of times I've gone I've come across some rude employees. I try to submit all my stuff online to just drop in and pick up my copies. Last 3 times I've waited over 30 minutes just to get my order. Today I showed up at the store after 7pm and find that the doors are locked. No sign has been posted about closing early. Another gentleman and his daughter showed up and soon after us another 2 guys. We knocked on the doors for a while before anyone answered. The asian girl from printing came and said that they closed at 7pm and to speak to her manager. The manager never even came to the door to apologize for the inconvenience. Horrible customer service! This place gets the job done, in terms of printing. However, Steve the Printing Manager is a tough nut to crack. RUDE upon first meeting and if you match your energy with his, It will "go left" very quickly. He must've had a bad experience or exchange with the customer before me and that, then, translated into a poor greeting for me. I remained calm and, with a smile, asked for what I needed. I asked if there was someone else that could help me because of how rude he was and he said that he could assist me. He later asked why I asked and I told him It was because he was rude. His response was "oh no, I'm fine! I just have an a**hole face." He turned out OK and he actually hooked me up. I was just taken aback at how I was treated OVERALL. I visited here to put together a power point presentation booklet for work. This place sure was busy. I recommend going early in the day. The color copies are pricy. I made 7 booklets and it cost me 50 bucks. I added the spiral booklet option with card stock . Staff were nice especially the department manager. read more

Worst Experience Ever!!!!!!! Negative 10 stars Visited the Office Depot Website and it clearly stated starting at .09 cents a copy and .06 cents for over orders over 749. I went to the Office Depot store located at 2602 Eldridge Pkwy Suite C, Houston, TX 77082. Kevin the Customer Service Manager refused to honor the price despite it clearly stating it on the website. The experience was terrible because the staff was not helpful or friendly. Kevin stated that all he could do was the .09 cents because he was not authorized to do more. The prints I did get were poor quality because the toner was out and he said they could not replace it even though I am pretty sure Office Depot sells ink and toner. He said to come back the next day to speak with the store manager a Savanni I think but refused to tell me when she would be in. I call the next day to see if she is in and Steve the Print manage answers and says that I have to go through him. He was extremely rude and constantly interrupted me. I tried to get him to see the website but he became sarcastic and started scolding me. I couldn't believe these were managers I was speaking to. How could somebody be a print or customer service manager and lack any skills in those areas. I finally gave up and asked to know when the store manage would be in and Steve said he couldn't tell me. At this time I couldn't take it anymore and went to another Office Depot requested a refund and returned my 1000 copies only to go back online when I got home and reorder them for the correct website price and with free delivery. People worry about stores closings and everything going to online shopping, well with horrible customer service provided by this particular Office Depot store maybe it will be better. It is a shame that neither Kevin or Steve asked for my contact information to give to the store manager so that the store manager might reach out to me and have an opportunity to fix this. Hey y'all! So I had to make personal stamps today and compare label sizes. So the worker (Carlos) w/ the ponytail & glasses that help me was very helpful it literally almost took a hour before I decided on my stamp and design. But I can be picky I'm paying for it....It's not free. I just felt bad I kept changing my mind so Carlos had to keep changing things constantly. The size of the store is small for Office Depot and don't have everything a regular size Office Depot. The parking is very easy. I think I'll be going back for small office supplies or for more labels. read more

Most recently I visited this location and Norris in print destroyed one of mt documents. He acted very kindly knowing that he destroyed my document. I noticed that he turned the laminating machine sideways so that I could not see the document that he'd messed up. I didn't know that he'd messed up at the time. What I noticed was him trying to lay the following pieces very carefully after that and I questioned it. However, he never admitted to any mistake on his part. He continued on and offered an envelope to put the remaining pieces inside. I thought it nice of him and went on. I counted out 9 pieces to him before he started and just assumed that he'd put 9 pieces inside the envelope once the job was done. I was being deceived all along. There were only 8 pieces in the envelope when I got to work the following day. How awful! When I returned to the store and let him know that he attempted to deceive me, he then went on to try to deceive his manager into believing that I was being unreasonable. Norris claimed that he was calling the manager so that I could speak to him. So I followed him with the phone. He was making up some story as he didn't realize that I was behind him. Norris is a liar. I was told that if you lie then you'll steal. I am UTTERLY disappointed in the ease at which he attempted to cover up his mistake. Unfortunately he is one of the managers or managers in training. All of this could have been handled and I not have to waste my time and gas if Norris had been HONEST. I called in on 3/1/19 at 534pm asking for stackable paper trays. The girl who answered did not know what I was talking about and immediately got an attitude. She said all they had was a paper sorter that was 38 bucks. I googled stackable paper trays and hundreds pop up instantly. First of all, this store is tiny and has a very limited selection of items. When I tried to ask an employee about a particular item, he was rather rude. I then waited in line at the register behind two people and when it was finally my turn, the same employee rudely said I would have to get in line at a different register. Seriously? I then got in line behind three other people and waited for over 20 minutes to be served. Meanwhile, to pass time more quickly I watched as several other customers were allowed to make their purchases at the registers that I was originally waiting on. That is ridiculous! If I could do zero stars, I would. Absolutely the worst experience in buying something so simple as a $5 notebook. Only 2 associates working, and they were busy taking print orders. I stood there for about 10 mins before they called for help from out back, so someone could check out customers. Never an apology, and not even a thank you, just coldly handing me my receipt. Oh and I observed at least one potential customer drop the stuff she had collected after she saw the disorganization behind the counter and walk out. I wish I would have done the same. Please shut this location down if you do not have enough space to house all the item that a regular location has. When I shop at Target they are uniform all targets will have the entire store no missing isles or departments. I have been to this location 3 times with no luck of finding simple items that are advertised not because they are sold out but because they don't carry the items here. An Office Depot brand mobile cart is what I searched for for 20 minutes of my lunch break without anyone being able to assist me! 4 employees on the floor 1 register open and no assistance. I finally got someone I asked him to point me where I can find it he didn't know. To make it better he said I will be back and walked off and never came back. I stood at the counter for 10 min and the store is tiny! Still no mobile cart. Waited another 10 min to check out. I only mad a purchase here with the other items in my basket only because I spent so much time in here for tape a file box and a stapler! If you have people waiting in line to check out and you have only 1 cashier working the register and you see another worker just wiping the counter. The counter did not seem dirty to me. Should the other worker not help out the customers? I came in to pick up an order that was already purchase. I was not acknowledge that I was standing there until after 5 minutes of standing there. The cashier continue checking out all the customers before getting to me even though I was there before some of the customers. I waited over 10 minutes to get my order. I should have just left and cancel my order. That's how satisfied I was with my experience here. read more

We went to Office Depot to get a textbook binded so that it could last longer. We assumed that the employee handling our book would know how to work the machine and would bind it properly. This book was around 800 pages, and I could see how long it would take. So we waited for around an hour and a half for the book to be binded, but what we got back was extremely disappointing. This book was 80 dollars, and many of the pages were punched improperly, causing them to fall out or be halfway out. Many of the back pages were also missing. So we asked what's going on, and the lady said that she made a mistake on them and would make a photocopy of them if we wanted to. We agreed, so we waited another our for her to make copies and rebind them. (I don't think it should take that long to add a few pages in the back) When we got the book back, it was in even worse condition than before. We discovered that more pages were badly punched, the copies were upside down, and the original pages were damaged. We complained to the manager after this whole ordeal, and he was very nice about it and gave us a business card with a 25% discount on the next visit. I don't think we'll be returning, and now we're left with a important, badly damaged 80 dollar book. read more
