Being that there are just a few places that you can buy computer cables/accessories, we decided to stop by and to try and find some cables for our new monitor. We didn't want to go through ordering any off of the internet because we wanted the cables NOW. This location is in the Publix strip center in the southeast corner of the intersection of Gulf to Bay and S. Belcher Rd. in Clearwater. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and related what our cable issue was. We were immediately led to the area with monitor cables. After a little discussion about our problem of having an older computer without a HDMI port, we bought an adapter and a HDMI cable. Problem solved. The staff person (didn't get her name) was friendly, knowledgeable and helped us think through our issue. You cannot receive that sort of service off of a computer chat room or site on the internet. Woe to the day that we can't speak to a human being about computer issues. Thanks goodness Office Depot is still around to help folks with a variety of electronics questions. I need to print out an email and was out of ink, so I tried Office Depot. Miguel showed me how to email my documents to the Xerox brand copier and print them out for 12 cents a page! This is a small but very convenient Office Depot. The stop light on Belcher makes entering & exiting simple, plus parking is surprisingly plentiful. Because this store is considerably smaller than other Office Depot stores, finding what I need is quick with less hassle. Of course the selection is also smaller, but if I wasn't in a hurry for something specific, I'd order online. I enjoy having this store near my office, and hope it's not closing any time soon. read more

Although a busy location, the staff never fail to greet you. Also, a busy store usually means they're doing well in the business, right? I'm amazed that I can get anything done here, from buying giant manila envelopes, to special ordering more giant manila envelopes, to having custom self-inking stamps made, to mailing off packages. I've also visited this location to find a rental agreement when we had the slight inclination to rent a room in the house to a friend. Will definitely be back! read more

This location seems much smaller than most. Other than that is good and the staff seem to be very helpful. There is a fair amount of selection when it comes to products, but like I said it's small, so they can only fit so much in there. There is a private lot, so parking is not a problem. read more

Never have I been in an office supply store with so many associates and still get little to no service. Simple things that a full service print should be able to do they say is not possible (paid for service) but by all means I can do it my self. I didn't have the time- that's why I went to a print shop. Waited to check out for too long for as many people they had working. The lady in the print shop was not professional either. read more

Purchased a Dell computer from this store in Feb of this year and was told, if anything went wrong with it, to bring it back in and it would be repaired or replaced with the $150+ service plan I purchased on it. Good chunk of money, but with electronics, I always get protection plans. Well, I got to put it to the test when, a month ago, my computer began to give me an error and said it had to be taken in. So the clerk that greets me is very polite and directs me back to the person who handles the repairs... I go back and explain the situation. He asks me if I have any important data on the computer, etc. and I tell him no - I'm perfectly fine with a factory reinstall, just so long as they can get it to boot up again. Great! So he's all ready to do it - and he informs me that's only $99 to do the factory reinstall. Naturally, I mention that I have the protection plan on it... so I shouldn't be paying $99 right? Oh.... now, suddenly, I have to ship my computer in to Dell in order to have the factory reinstall done - because they will only fix it if something happened to my computer, like I dropped it or spilled coffee on it........... or did something to it that Dell refuses to cover. Unbelievable! And, of course, the guy that sold me the computer informed me that we didn't get/need a little pamphlet on the plan because it was all tracked online now - if we had a problem, we just bring the computer in, give them our phone number and it's all there and it will be fixed or replaced. Even checked it online before I brought it in and, sure enough, the computer was listed online with them... If I'd have known that their protection plan was for accidental drop and damage only, I would never have purchased it and just gone with the basic Dell PP. Feel like I was really led astray and taken advantage of. Expensive lesson learned. read more

I purchased a desk on-line through this location after looking at a display 'model'. When the desk was delivered by an independant company, I began to assemble it and ran into issues. Beside being defective, it differed from the floor display. I returned to the store and explained the situation. Even though the problems were not caused by Office Depot or anyone at this particular store, an oustanding store associate by the name of Joshua stepped up to the plate, took ownership of my situation and remedied the matter to my 100% satisfaction! read more
