The person in the print department was un knowledgeable about everything no help at all when I asked to see the manager on duty and help with getting business cards ordered. He basically threw my business card at me when the manager on duty came to help me, he was even worse stating oh there is a woman that has been here for 30 years. That'll be here in about 15 or 20 she can help you get the order done because I just don't have time while he sat there doing nothing drinking his bottle of water. Then the woman of 30 years comes in she is also unable to help saying that everything has to be done online now that will be my last visit to the for any of my or of any kind after 35 years of doing business with . This review comes with regards to the General Manager. I drove from Savannah, Georgia to pick up an order that was purportedly cancelled by the Office Depot at the Statesboro, location. Notably, after speaking with Office Depot .com I was told to pick up the order in Charleston, South Carolina. Upon my arrival the General Manager cancelled the order for no reason. He colluded with others to the extent cause numerous charges on my credit card. The order could not be completed because of his misconduct amid others. Be careful with this guy he is dangerous. I'm glad we have a dedicated office supply place close to home. I'm not often in need of specialty services but I recently purchased a new laptops and for the life of me I can't get it to connect to my printer. (A system check indicates my printer is supported) . Anyway, I needed to scan some documents and Office Depot made it easy...and inexpensive. The self serve kiosk allowed me to skip the long line at the service desk and my total cost was $1.08! A very very unhappy bride. I went in as I needed to get my wedding invitations printed. Was having trouble ordering via online so thought, of course an employee can help in the store. When i got there i was told by the employee Boone that they can only take online orders. Boone watched me struggle as the site kept kicking me and him out as he tried to assist. When he couldn't get it to work either, he basically gave up. I sat at the desk staring at him for 15 min and had to ask "can you tell me what's happening with my order" before he came back around. I went to my car to try to work on it. After 40min, Boone never offered a different solution. I eventually had to ask for a manager. Tom tried his best to help me and had me email the file to the store, however after working with him for 30 more minutes, I left the store promised an order with a quote, thinking I'd be picking up my invitations today or tomorrow morning, only to be called 40min later and told that I was DRASTICALLY misquoted. After all of the stress and disappointment, i decided to cancel my order. Keep in mind i only needed LESS THAN 100 invites, in black and white 5x7! Also keep in mind that they offer same day pickup as long as you order early enough and before 2pm. While I'm a young person myself and understand the efficiency of technology, it's only efficient if it works. For this location or its associates to not be able to offer any other course of action other than (you have to do it yourself online) leaves space for the lack of customer service for those who come in for the services you promise to provide. Planning a wedding or event is already stressful enough and this should've been one of the more easy and quick things to do. If you need a "quick print", maybe. But if you are looking for "face-to face" customer service or need assistance with anything custom, i can't say i recommend coming here. read more

The ordering process online was easy, and I got a text message less than one hour later that my purchase was ready- enough time for me to get ready and go to the store. When you walk in, all online purchases are on a shelf to the left, and you can sign for them at the register. There was no line at the register, and the employee was helpful and nice. I'd return to Office Depot for other quick home office purchases. The only drawback is that sometimes it's hard to get in and out of the shopping center. read more

They have two copy machines, one of which that wasn't working and the other was a lady who needed to make a ton of copies but had never worked a machine before and the lady who worked there just stood next to her not helping it along at all. This store should make an everyday errand, like shipping a package, easy and efficient. However, the service could not be worse. I needed to purchase a box in the store and then mail an item in the shipping center. I found what I needed quickly. There was no one in line. Then I waited 10 minutes at the register for a cashier to show up. I made my way over to the shipping center, packaged up my item, and approached the counter. The employee there told me he could help me after these two men who were at a counter. That was totally reasonable until I realized they were typing a letter, and not a short one. I waited for another ten minutes, then left and went to the post office -- because that was actually quicker. Ridiculous lack of attention to service. Print Center of Office Max: I went into Office Max on Sunday September 29th at around 5:45pm to make a 15X20 print. The guy who helped me was beyond rude. He never responded to what I said, it was like he wasn't even listening or like he had ear phones in listening to music. It started when I tried telling him I sent him the email with the photo link, but I needed him to use the one labeled "3:4 Ratio", I was looking at the screen as well and saw he was clicking on the wrong one. He kept asking me what size I needed it in and he had the size drop down, but I told him about 5 times during that I needed the 3:4 Ratio printed. This went on for over 5 minutes. He was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing him while printing. I didn't even know he had rang me up because he was walking around behind the desk doing other things. The front desk was dirty, there were Big Gulps with chewed up straws and random papers everywhere. He also rang me up for 2 prints, even thought the first print was all scratched. I even asked if I had to buy the first one he had printed, and he never actually responded to me, he just kept singing softly to his music and shook his head as he walked around behind the desk. I'd be happy to send in a picture as proof. I spent about 20 minutes in the store. I never want to come to Office Max's Printing ever again due to this experience. Really quick printing services and there is always a coupe online and sale in store. After some terrible experiences at FedEx/Kinkos, I decided to try here. I printed my son's birthday invites from Etsy in the store and was there just a couple of minutes. I have also used their online ordering for some fun printables as well as some flyers we laminated for our alumni club. Always been quick and easy and most of all, great quality. read more

Worse customer service! I order online and I'm physically disabled. It's important that my parcels are delivered to my apartment door instead of my complex office. I've had two deliveries that never made it to my apartment door. Now it's time to order again. When I expressed my concerns to Mgmt of this store, I was told there was nothing they could do because it's third party delivery.
