The Pacific Beach area is usually busy, and we were lucky that we didn't have to wait and service was excellent. They even have their own parking lot around back so that makes it less stressful to have a meal at their establishment. I also made a reservation in advance for eight people but it really wasn't necessary when we went. I think it's very different during dinner service so I still highly recommend making a reservation. They brought out chips and salsa immediately as well as water. My husband and I got there a little bit early ahead of our party so we ordered a couple of drinks while everyone else arrived. They have a huge selection of menu items for both brunch and dinner. We had the ceviche, chicharrones and guacamole. I also ordered the Yucatán salad and my husband got the seafood enchiladas. Both were excellent and highly recommend. The ambience and decor are so cute as well. They have a couple Bougainvillea trees by the entrance and beautiful, colorful murals on their building. So definitely a cute place to take pictures. Very much worth the trip if you are looking for something to eat in the area.

Ceviche was good probably the best thing. We ordered the surf and turf tacos, was okay/ bland. The sea food enchiladas beautiful presentation but no flavor or kick to it, very bland the beans were the best part of the dish. Cocktails were okay.

We tried the queso, guacamole, and Mexican pizzas (short rib and margarita) everything was tasty. I ordered a combo which consisted of the short rib enchilada, carnitas taco and the fish taco. The fish taco was devine, the enchilada made me want to lick the plate and the carnitas was very tender. The rice that comes with the meals is a hidden gem. Everyone as the table made comments on how tasty the rice was. For desert, the server recommended pineapple empanadas and I was skeptical. However, they were great. I would come here again, I may stop by before I leave tomorrow.

We were given complimentary chips and salsa and then ordered some drinks that came with watermelon garnish. We shared the spicy mango ceviche and a cheese crisp for our appetizers. Both were delicious! The cheese crisp was very interesting! We opted for the spicy tiger shrimp fajitas for our entree. It's served with blistered peppers, charred onions, jack cheese, guacamole, salsa fresca, sour cream, choice of beans and tortillas. It was very tasty! We ended up trying frozen margarita and an agua fresca as well. The frozen margarita is so refreshing, especially on a hot summer day. For dessert, we got the tres leches cake and it was the perfect ending to our dinner.

Was hungry for some Mexican food and am glad we came here…read more It was a very nice day so we decided to sit outside. The server came right away to take our order. We started out with the Mexican street corn along with the chips and salsa. I've always had Mexican street corn that was on the cob, but I really liked it this way. Would definitely get it again because it was very good. We both ordered the spicy skinny margarita. Best skinny margarita I've ever had. Yum I ordered the traditional cheese enchilada because that's my go to for Mexican food. So good! The flavor was spot on. Lots of melty cheese. Everything was excellent and I would definitely be back when I'm in town.

It's a cool little spot with ample seating indoors, outdoors, and at the bar. Also with really cool decor. I was staying across the street for a conference and a bit of a staycation and decided to come over here with some coworkers to relax and watch some World Cup. The bartenders here are amazing. They are great humans and really helpful in explaining the various drink specials (margarita trees are highly recommended), the local flavor favorites, and just the area itself. My coworker and I got the elote and the chicken tinga cheese crisp to share. The elote was okay. The Cheese Crisp was really satisfying, basically reminded me of a Mexican Pizza with the tortilla base. It's a cool spot to come hangout if you are the area.

The renovation gave the restaurant a fresh, modern look, but what has remained consistent is the quality of the food and the outstanding customer service. The restaurant is always clean, and the staff is consistently friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable, and efficient. Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, they make the experience quick and enjoyable. My go-to order is the California Burrito, add guacamole (it's California after all, it better have avocado on it), and after trying California burritos all over San Diego, this one is still my favorite. The carne asada is tender and full of flavor, the fries are perfectly cooked, the cheese melts beautifully throughout the burrito, and the guacamole adds the perfect fresh, creamy finish. So, if you're looking for an authentic San Diego taco shop and want one of the best California burritos in the city, Lolita's should absolutely be on your list.

I like the freshness and it was tender. I love their salsas as well. Was the perfect hint of spice. This location is quite big and spacious. Lots of sitting inside and outside. They have a nice fire pit outside too. The staff were very nice. Only complaint I have is that it look a long time to get our food. It took almost a half an hour to get our food. My coworker ordered a Monster Burrito and he said it was cold when he started to eat it. Luckily my food was still warm. There was another customer that was quite upset about his order taking a long time too. I think if the staff had inform us of the wait or letting us know there is a delay then the anticipation wouldn't have been so bad.
