I was having a party and wanted to freshen up the house. Sean who is the owner/operator got back to me within 30 mins. Really nice exchange. He was able to come on the day and time I requested. No small job either. Sean arrived on time with a 20 min arrival warning text. He arrived in a beautiful truck with an impressive set of equipment. He came in, put on shoe protectors and we walked through the house. Sean is very knowledgeable in his field. Trust me ive had crappy ones. He gave me a few pointers on carpet care since i have a new puppy in the house. Sean got to work. Took a few hours to complete the job which was good considering the size of the house. When he was done it was a night and day difference. The carpets were stunning. They looked brand new. I could not have been happier. Best part was there was minimal wetness on the carpet. By the time we went to bed the carpets were dry with our ceiling fans running. House smelled fantastic too. So now a month later my little bundle of joy frenchie decided to have a piss party on the second floor. Called Sean. He was out the next day to assist. Again I couldn't be happier with his work. I forgot to mention his pricing is way more than fair. I expected to pay more than he charged and would have been happy to do so for that level of service. Last Christmas, while rummaging through my partner's parent's garage, they wanted to get rid of a small 3 by 4 Persian rug. It was all rolled up out of shape, had a very strong musty smell from being in a smoker's house previously, and just a bit shabby from being abandoned in a non-climate controlled garage for years. I swooped it up and hoped to get it cleaned and fixed for use. I procrastinated for a few months (well, almost a year!) about dropping it off for cleaning since I was afraid it would be very expensive just for a cleaning and dreaded whatever quote for repairs would be. After doing some research, I found CL on Yelp and browsed their site for a bit. Everything was clearly laid out in term of prices and services so I felt comfortable moving forward with the cleaning. I swung by store to drop of my rug. They quoted me a $25 minimum cleaning fee since the rug was small, and recommended an odor treatment for an extra $5 which I agreed to. They examined the rug and recommended that the ends get re-threaded and the backing getting reinforced with leather to prevent further curling that thad already set it. They also noted that some of the dye had started bleeding and warned that a cleaning may make it worse. I figured I had nothing to lose so I was OK with that. They didn't pressure me into getting anything done just yet, offered to do a cleaning first to see how the rug turned out and we could decide then. About two weeks later the cleaning was completed and a got a call from a lady who said that they could move forward with restoration if I wanted. I came by again, took a look at it and the cleaning had actually improved some of the curling and asked them which repair would be most beneficial right now as I couldn't afford to do everything (it was $110 for the re-threading and $160 I believe for the leather reinforcement). They recommended the re-threading since the rug was appearing to be unraveling on one end; I agreed to that. Another two weeks passed and I got another call saying the restoration was complete. The rug looks great and the re-threading also helped some of the curling issues, but eventually I imagine it'll need further work but for now, it will do! The staff was friendly, but straightforward and you can tell this is something they really love doing and put effort into. Should I come across anymore abandoned rugs, I will definitely come back here.
