I know they have a reputation for that so I told her I only wanted partials ONLY. I went home and looked up patients reviews and I canceled immediately that many patients could not be that wrong. I was not going to waste my time especially when one of the reviews said it was a sales call really. How do they stay in business with so many bad reviews. To get in the next day for an appointment was a big red flag that means they are hurting for business.

I went to this dental clinic because I had a fall that caused me to have a broken tooth. After…read morehaving the initial appointment to have my tooth rep aired I was given a temporary crown placed by an inexperienced tech. The crown temp broke and I returned to have another inexperienced tech replace. During each visit the dentist did not check to make sure the temp crown was placed correctly. This temp crown also broke. When I returned on 12/31 to have the permanent crown replaced the dentist walked in because the tech was unable to remove the temp with an attitude. After instructing the tech who removed the temp the dentist came in took three minutes to glue the crown in place showed me it in a mirror. I expressed that the crown was crooked again I got attitude and she stated "we can return the crown for a new one." At this point I was over frustrated because of the attitude and the lack of care the dentist showed. I chose to not go through the temp crowns and wait. I wished I would have told her to take it out and have it replaced because almost a month later the tooth is tender to the touch. Probably because of poor placement. I had a crown placed on a tooth years ago and I have had no problem. The dentist took his time and made sure the placement was correct and the tooth was a fit. I do not recommend this place. Even though my tooth is sore I do not want to return. Also the only aftercare I received was from the tech who told me not to bite down on anything because I might chip the crown. Oh I forgot the dentist did tell me not to pull floss straight down but to pull it through because the crown was so close to the tooth next to it that it might break or loosen the crown. Any reputable dentist would have automatically sent for a new crown.

Our appointments were confirmed the day before (by Deborah), yet when we arrived we were told we weren't even on the schedule and had to be added. On top of that, our 8:00 AM appointments--the first appointments of the day--weren't even being taken back until around 8:15. They didn't pull ANY patients back until 8:15. Later, as I was signing forms for my son it became clear that the girl with the consents had no idea what procedures my kid was having. Glad I'm an ICU nurse and just so happened to not need her guidance or help knowing wtf was going on. Then, later still, I was getting my kids records from an EXTREMELY nice girl at the front desk while Deborah continued to be a nuisance to the workplace. Someone walked up asking to make a payment on some braces and Deborah was like you're gonna have to go over there. Then the people act "over there" were like "no... We're so sorry but Deborah will be checking you out ". Deborah had made an assumption that the dude was working specifically with one of the other staff. That's fine. Miscommunication happens all the time. However, Deborah then proceeded to gaslight the rest of the staff and state "I'm so sorry they keep throwing you around". She also had a very standoffish attitude and would not acknowledge that any of the staff were speaking to her or communicating with her at all. She requested information for the man checking out in another employee, looked it up and handed it to her and said "here's the information on that patient." she ignored that person and like five minutes later I told the dude who was still standing there waiting... To go sit down until she got the information. The other staff came back out and asked why the man was still waiting and tried to tell Deborah again that the information was sitting right next to her and Deborah continued to ignore her. I even tried to tell Deborah twice myself that the information was there. She was making that person wait for no reason at all. It was also sooooo clear the other staff are EXHAUSED dealing with deborrah's bs. Also. As it turns out. Deborah is the one who does the phone call calls to confirm appointments... Which makes so much sense why my appointment didn't exist when I got here. I've also brought foster kids here in the past whose appointments have been nonexistent. So this is not a new issue for today. I've been to Franklin dental many times. Every single time has been a miserable terrible experience. Today is the day that I actually post a review of the facility because I feel there is something they could do to fix the problem. They need to fire Deborah. Obviously.

I went to Young Dr Cook dentist last tuesday to see about extracting 3 broken teeth. After waiting…read more2 hours i was taken to the back, & sat in a room ignored for 40 minutes. Finally someone came in & took me to Xray then i saw the dentist. We scheduled my return for next day. 30 mins before my appt the office called to reschedule for a week she said 11am 1st then said no 2:30 is better. I called this morning to confirm my 2:30 appt & was told it was at 11am. I go in and wait by noon i am in a room getting numbed up by 1pm 3 teeth are pulled. However one was Not supposed to be pulled, it was to be filled & used as an anchor tooth for partial denture on the bottom. He left tooth fragments!!! The broken tooth that hurts the most was IGNORED and left in my mouth!! Now i am jacked up and that tooth HURTS!!!! Would you return to a dentist who (1) pulled the wrong tooth & left fragments of it in your mouth? (2) left a broken tooth that hurts 24/7? His office still has not called me back with a solution.. I feel like i was mistreated based on the color of my skin being Caucasian they all being of African American decent.. now im still in Agony and have no "anchor" teeth for a partial denture...
