On Sunday, May 11, I called the local U-Haul office. They assured me that our box was already there and would be deleted to the new house the next day by noon. However, later that evening, I got a text that the truck was delayed. I was unable to speak to anyone until Monday as the Ubox team is not in on Sundays. Monday morning, I began trying to find out what was going on. After speaking to the local office, texting the Uhaul box team, and even calling the carrier, Global Trans, still nobody could tell me where the box was or what was going on. Eventually I got a text that the truck was having mechanical issues, but they still couldn't tell me where the truck was or the extent of the issues Today, Tuesday,I got a text that the truck broke down in Texas! Since it was picked up in Colorado and was headed to Maine, it had to have broken down shortly after leaving Colorado! Yet, we were just made aware of the situation!. I have filed a complaint and am waiting for a supervisor to supposedly call me. I still don't know what's wrong with the truck or how long it will be before it gets here! Meantime, all our belongings except for what came in our luggage are in that box! I can't speak on the phone to anyone in the Ubox team. I can only text or email. I will never use this service again. I honestly don't think that it is possible to find a better deal on a storage unit in the area! Especially not one that Offers 24/7 access, climate control, and an Area where you honestly don't have to worry much about anything! It is on a piece of private property with what I believe is an apartment complex or maybe even a house. (separate from the storage unit building) The building itself looks like it may have been an old barn which makes it very unique and gives you a country kinda feel. It seems to even smell like hay when you walk through the wooden hallways. The only thing I would suggest is having the automatic light system be set to stay on a little bit longer when there is no movement. A few times I was inside my storage unit organizing when the lights in the hallways went out due to no movement. So I would have to walk in the pitch dark for a moment to get the motion sensor lights to turn back on. But really that's the only suggestion I would make! The owners are super friendly and I will definitely be recommending this place to anybody who is looking for a decent sized unit for a very good price! I am actually surprised that not many people have discovered this local gem! Forget U-Haul! Forget the pricey big name storage facilities and support your local business with this super fabulous find!! :)

When the crew arrived, they were immediately informed that the property was involved in an active divorce case and that a court injunction prohibited the removal of any items. Despite being told this directly and clearly, the movers ignored the legal notice and proceeded to remove items at my wife's request--including premarital property that belongs solely to me. Their behavior made the situation even worse. While loading my belongings, the movers made jokes about the situation, and when I stated that the items they were taking were my property, one of them yelled back, "No it's not!" The level of disrespect and unprofessionalism was astonishing. A reputable moving company should stop immediately when notified of a legal restriction. Instead, Ron's Moving Company chose to proceed, creating financial harm, legal complications, and unnecessary conflict. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Their disregard for legal instructions and their unprofessional conduct speak volumes about how they operate.

I did my whites in them and they came out with brown splotches all over them. ruined 60lbs of whites. this has never happened to me before or since. when I brought it to his attention he says "they're brand new" insinuating it was user error. so, I asked him if anyone else complained to let me know, because I would be relieved to know it wasn't my fault. I never heard from him. Two weeks later I visited the same place TO FIND SAID "brand new" washers OUT OF ORDER. Cheap man didn't offer to refund the money I spent ruining my clothes, let alone the ruined items. Also; charges extra for hot water and heavy soil loads. Too much crap.
