I am posting my complaint here in hopes that someone in management will finally take note of my…read moremissing item and make contact with me. On 6/11/25, I dropped off, in Ellsworth, a linen tablecloth I inherited from my grandmother in 1989. I returned a week later and was told it was not back yet and I would receive a call when it was ready. After no call, I went by the cleaners a week later. Then, I was told it was missing but they were looking for it. The third time I went by, I filed a claim on 8/1/25. At that time, I was promised a call by the next week. Still no call 2 weeks later so we stopped by again. The manager said they still had 2 locations to check with. Really??? Now, 8/29/25, still no contact, nearly a month after filing a claim and 11+ weeks from my drop off date! Professional? I don't think so. This is a very cherished, sentimental item, not a shirt that can be easily replaced. Sorry to resort to airing "dirty laundry" here but my patience is exhausted.

They do sell soap (no unscented-so if you need that, bring your own, it's $1.25 in quarters). There are three (I believe) varieties of washers that range from $4.50-6.50 a load depending on size. They run for around 23 minutes. There is a wall of dryers, two sizes available. They are bigger, so I was able to combine loads into one dryer. Cost: 75¢ for six minutes, 25¢ for six minute increments after that initial 75¢. You can adjust the temp, which is nice. The place is well lit, clean enough, and was fairly chill on an early Sunday morning. However, once people started waking up, the place filled up. No bathroom, no WiFi, no outlets for charging devices. There are also restaurants close by.

I did my whites in them and they came out with brown splotches all over them. ruined 60lbs of whites. this has never happened to me before or since. when I brought it to his attention he says "they're brand new" insinuating it was user error. so, I asked him if anyone else complained to let me know, because I would be relieved to know it wasn't my fault. I never heard from him. Two weeks later I visited the same place TO FIND SAID "brand new" washers OUT OF ORDER. Cheap man didn't offer to refund the money I spent ruining my clothes, let alone the ruined items. Also; charges extra for hot water and heavy soil loads. Too much crap.
