Also, this is not my first make up artist I've hired so I have done this multiple times all without hiccups. My prior make up artists were in the bay area or LA area. This was the worst experience ever. I submitted a yelp submission back in October for my graduation ceremony on 12/14/23. The contact information has name, email, what type of an event, date of the event, phone number, location address. My email, phone number and location address are all correct. Shana wrote a draft response on 10/27/23 but left it in her drafts. She finally sent me a reply on 10/30/23. I reply same day on 10/30/23 asking for a 10:00 am appointment. Shana replies on 11/01/23 asking if I can do 11:00 am. I respond on 11/01/23 with a yes and ask if anything else is needed. Shana replies on 11/01/23 putting me down for 12/14 @ 11:00 am offering hair services as well. I response on 11/02/23 asking to please book both. I receive no response after. I email on 12/05/23 asking if she received my earlier email and asked for a confirmation of the make up session on 12/14. Shana emails me on 12/07/23 with time and date and finally rate. On the day of my appointment as I am getting ready to go to her studio she emails me on 12/14/23 saying she "assumed" I don't need services. I send three emails and have called but she did not answer. #1 My understanding is that a make up artist goes to the location address inputted. Also, prior make up artists I have hired have done so. But apparently not at this one. #2 If you really wanted to do make up at 11:00 am you would have answered the phone. It would have been better if you just were honest and told your clients you couldn't do their make up. #3 There are technology issues. Hiring an assistant or using a different way to schedule would work. Who knows how many others had issues like this. I find it odd there aren't any real recent reviews as well. Please pm me if you want actual screenshots of my convo. I've saved them all.

I did not want that and was worried I would not find someone like that. My friend forwarded Angelina's yelp page to me and as I looked at the photos uploaded, I was pleasantly surprised. I quickly reached out to her and her response to me was within a reasonable time. Months prior to my wedding, whenever I had questions and asked her, she was able to answer me. Comes a day before the wedding and she gave me a quick reminder of my appointment. Very kind of her. Gave her the address to my hotel and my room number, and the next morning, she arrived on time. I was still getting ready with my mom and she was able to wait a bit for us to get settled in and set up her stuff. It was my first time seeing her and her first time working with my hair and face. Due to budget restrictions, I was not able to do a trial run with her. She asked me what make up and hair style I liked and she was able to execute what I wanted within 2 hrs of time. She also did my mom's make up and finished everything on time. She was super duper kind to both me and my mom. Made good conversation with us while doing our make up and my hair. When I was done, she showed me how I looked and I was so shocked to how beautiful I looked. My parents, brother, and guests all said I looked very natural and beautiful. My husband who saw me during the first look could not look away and also said I looked beautiful. He was so satisfied with it! Angelina is reasonably priced, quick, and does an amazing job. Overall, a good experience and would recommend to everyone needing make up and hair done. Would book her again for a special event. I opted for a bridal trial to test out hair and makeup looks I wanted months in advance. Lisa is very friendly and easy to vibe with, which made working with her enjoyable. Lisa followed up with detailed notes after my trial where I could make final adjustments as needed. I booked my engagement shoot the same day, which worked out well. I even tested crying in my makeup (just in case!) and it held up hours later. It was storming morning of my wedding reception but Lisa stayed in contact the day before and arrived right on schedule day of. She did hair and makeup for me, my sister, and my husband. I leaned towards wanting to look more natural but with nice pop for eyes and brows. Everything turned out perfect that wedding guests complimented me and my sister's makeup looks. Lisa is also multi talented and happens to be a baker. My husband and I ordered a green tea crepe cake through her that we wanted to utilize as our cutting cake. Lisa kindly delivered it to our hotel in Napa, which worked out beautifully logistics wise. The cake was amazing and the guests who happened to get a slice too really enjoyed it as well! Highly recommend Lisa if you're looking for a makeup artist!

And let me tell you, the work Sidney did on my wife's eyebrows was worth every penny. From the moment we walked in, it was nothing but professional, welcoming, and detail-focused. Sidney took her time, explained everything clearly, and made sure my wife felt confident and comfortable throughout the process. The results? Flawless. Natural, clean, and perfectly shaped -- exactly what my wife wanted. She left glowing and couldn't stop smiling. And as the saying goes... Happy wife = happy life. So yes, I'm very happy too. If you're even considering permanent brows, don't hesitate. Sidney Le Beauty delivers quality work and a top-tier experience. Highly recommend!

As a true child of the '90s, I absolutely fell victim to the era of aggressive overplucking... and…read moremy eyebrows never really recovered. After years of battling uneven drawn on brows, spending way too much on makeup, and wasting precious time every morning trying to get them to match (and not look wild), I knew I needed something more permanent. I started looking into microblading, but like many people, I had mixed feelings. Would it look natural? Was it worth the price? Would I regret it? So I did what any curious Millennial does, I went down the Instagram rabbit hole. That's when I found Sidney Le and started following her team and their different artists. I watched for months, studied the styles, and finally decided to pull the trigger. From the moment I reached out, the team was helpful, clear, and direct, which I immensely appreciate. I won't lie, the price did give me a little sticker shock at first. But then I remembered: this is a tattoo... on your face. And when you factor in: 1. The quality and expertise of the artists 2. The high-end products they use and how long it lasts 3. The time, money, and daily frustration it saves you PLUS the fact that it won't smudge or wash off in water... It was a no-brainer. My first appointment went great. The artist really took time to assess my face and skin type, and we decided on the Ombre Brow technique. I've never looked back! Now I go in every 2 to 2.5 years for a refresh and see Sara, who I absolutely adore. She's patient, detailed, and always makes sure I'm happy with the shape and color before we start. Now, let's talk pain. Yes, it's a tattoo on your face, so no, it's not completely painless. The outline and initial scratching definitely sting. But after that, numbing cream is applied and it's honestly not bad. It is more pressure than pain. I've even fallen asleep during the process because Sara's setup is so calming: soft music, cozy blanket, and one of the comfiest tables I've ever laid on. If you're on the fence, let this be your sign to go for it. Microblading (or ombre brows, in my case) has saved me so much time and given me such a boost in confidence. Just remember: there is a healing process. Your brows will look dark, they'll itch, and they'll peel..... but trust the process!! Once they heal, you'll be obsessed. Honestly? Best beauty decision I've ever made. Worth every single penny.

TLDR: Christi was easy to communicate with and did a wonderful job. She specializes in creating a…read morebeautifully elevated, natural look and stays with you through the ceremony for touch ups. Full review: As a bride who doesn't typically wear makeup or do anything with her hair, the idea of finding someone to do hair and makeup and then having it be hundreds of dollars was difficult for me. I've heard (and seen) how some wedding makeup could easily go wrong, so I knew I was looking for two things: I wanted someone who was familiar with a variety of skin tones and who specializes in more of a natural look. Affordability was also a must as I knew I wanted to pay for at least makeup for all my bridal party. At first glance, the pricing seemed a little high, which I understood since she comes with a lot of experience. I spent a lot of time reviewing and deliberating if I could afford/wanted to spend that much on hair and makeup. Christi and I then discussed what I really wanted done, who else needed hair/makeup done, and how I could work within her packages + add ons price structure to have the services I wanted while staying within my budget. Christi was very easy to talk to and we were able to work it out. She even offered to do complimentary touch ups on my mom (who insisted on doing her own makeup) to help elevate her look, to which my mom accepted. The Trial is a must. I'm sure everyone tells you this, but do the trial. The trial went well, but it was definitely needed. It gave me an opportunity to talk to Christi about what I wanted and what I liked/disliked. It also gave her an opportunity to see what did and didn't work with my hair. Not going to lie, the trial makeup was beautiful but not perfect. You could see a little bit of darkness under my eyes (mostly from wiped away makeup) and she used a lip color I had brought but didn't love. I talked to Christi about this and she reassured me that neither would be an issue on wedding day. Just in case, I made sure to bring a couple different lip options for the wedding, but she had her own and it looked great. She also gave me a little lip present to keep and use throughout the day. I was also worried about my hair holding since it typically doesn't, but both the makeup and hair lasted all night! One more thing to add that was a really great about Christi, she stayed until after the ceremony. A lot of hair and makeup artists leave right after you're done getting ready in the morning. She didn't. She met us at the hotel and did the bulk of it there, and then she traveled to our venue to do finishing touches after we were all in our dresses. THEN she did additional touch ups after our ceremony and helped me replace my veil with a bow. Overall, that helped so much with the nerves and everything. Oh, and everything was right on schedule! Thank you so much, Christi!
