STRONG NO on recommending this business! The office is close, so the times they put on this web site arent accurate, you call the office you'll get the voicemail box isnt set up yet. You call or text the owner, michelle gillis and her voicemail is full and ignores her texts. How unprofessional is that to not even call your client that you yourself set up the appt. that you cant make it or your running late but no notification and just dont show up!..respect people's precious time. If you cant even keep up with the sacramento place i wonder how your vegas branch you were claiming is doing. I feel bad for the students who pay for the class when you just have them watch videos and wait at the receiving area when your place was still open, cause you scheduled 2 clients at once to do their brows. I was one of those client, i even told you then you were making me nervouse cause you are not focus on my brows cause you were answering the phone and attending to the student. So disorganize...multi tasking you cant handle, people lost confidence on you from not being focus while you do someone's brows. I hope the student who complained to me while i was leaving got their money back cause thats illegal, their time and money wasted sitting on the waiting area when they are suppose to be learning something what they paid for to learn. So hopefully they spread the words and not go to your classes. I made an appointment and was nervous at first becuase I never had my eyebrows done before and was afraid of the results. After I got to my appointment Michelle gave me a consultation and matched the color and shape to exactly how I wanted it. She was nice and seemed eager to please, and the salon is in a great location. However, I can't say this is as good as it gets. 1. She was a bit disorganized. She numbed my eyes and then realized she forgot to have me fill out a form, so she took off the cream to allow me to fill it out and then put the cream back on. On the plus side, my eyelids definitely got numb :) 2. While I was on the table w/ cream on my eyes a woman came in and hung out for a lesson on false eyelashes. It was kind of awkward...I thought I would have privacy. Going to a different room or somewhere outside the room would've made me more comfortable. 3. Before she tattooed she showed me a thicker eyeliner look on my right eye and a thinner look that went a little further out on my left. I told her I liked the right eye look so she did that...on my right eye. My left eye has the thin look that went a little further out. Also the eyeliner on my left eye went further into the corner than the right one, which I pointed out and she fixed. I will have other issues corrected as well (elsewhere), it's just a bummer she didn't make sure everything matched or notice it didn't. 4. When she was working on my left eye she had cream on my right eye which is totally fine until she started telling me to open and close my eyes while she was tattooing. The cream got in my eye and it really stings! I told her but she still asked me to open and close. Ouch! 5. She sent me a text saying I could reply to her, but she didn't respond to them. Update: I did a consult with someone else and she basically said Michelle did a bad job. In addition to the issues I mentioned before, she didn't go far enough into the lashes on my right eye and she dug so deep it created scar tissue which is a big no-no. read more

I am very happy to have found Michelle. I have been getting permanent make up done on my eyebrows for approximately 20 years and over the years based on going to different artists the color had become terrible and the shape was not flattering anymore. I wanted to make a decent change that would be a shape that would be classic and lasting. For anybody who has not done permanent make up before, you should know it is not permanent, and will always need to be touched up every 1 to 3 years depending on your preference and skin. A friend recommended a gal up in Cameron Park whom i went to for a consultation. Based on the true correction need that I had she actually steered me towards Michelle due to her having such a great ability to do corrections and shape work. I could not be happier. Michelle is not cheap, but you get what you pay for for sure. Not only did she do a great job I love the shape I love the color and it ended up taking a few tries to get the color correction when adding extra to the shape. Michelle is a wonderful talented artist! My first procedure was 3D eyebrows. I am blonde and was not blessed with beautiful brows I have always used a pencil to draw them in. The technique she uses looks like individual hairs! I instantly looked 10 years younger!! I was always afraid of permanent makeup because of my fair skin and blonde hair. Michelle is so careful in having the client choose a color. I was very conservative so when I came for my touch up we went a little bit darker I am in love with my brows! Michelle is so fun to talk with the environment is beautiful and Serene. She made me so comfortable I actually fell asleep during the procedure a :-) my next procedure was Permanent eyeliner. Once again I was amazed at how beautifully talented she is! When I wake up in the morning with no makeup I just look better it is not obvious that I have permanent liner it is a shade that just brings out the color of my eyes.
