Ode was extremely helpful and took great care of me! I had the unfortunate event of my tire popping on the freeway one evening after work. My insurance only covered a tow truck to take me within 5 miles of where I was at. I looked it up in my GPS and Ode was second closest to a Bell Tire. First, it was almost 6pm when my tire popped so most tire stores were closing soon. Ode stays open until 8pm! I called them and I called Bell tire to get price quotes while I waited for the tow truck. Both places didn't carry my tire and needed to special order it. Bell Tire quoted me for $70 MORE than Ode. Crazy difference!! Once dropping my car off there, the woman at the desk was super friendly and accommodating. They told me they would call me when it was ready. By lunch time the next day it was all set and ready to go! I picked it up and the tire looked great. Ode was friendly, fast, and the price was right. This place like many auto repair shops are about ripping you off as much as possible. Called about needing the rear break pads replaced. Rotors are just over a year old didn't need these replaced. Guy here tells me $250. Knowing they are using 20 dollar break pads. I find that quote to be insulting. The guy got a slight attitude when I told him exactly what I needed and didn't need. So once he knew I know what I'm talking about his attitude changed. I called another place they quoted $65.00. So this review is not on the quality of their work rather how this company treats a potential customer. read more

I just took in my F150 for front brake service and was very pleased with my experience. They called within an hour of me dropping it off with the diagnosis, and completed the work within a couple hours after that. I believe their communication was effective, their service was friendly and timely, and the service performed was professional as the brakes feel like new and solid. I was very happy with my experience here! I was referred by AAA after my tire blew out on the highway. The staff was able to take care of my car right away even though it was a busy day. I believe I only waited 25-30 minutes overall. The price was reasonable and better than I'd paid for a tire replacement a few years back. So... my elderly mother's car overheats in the middle of a car wash. They have to tow it out and the tow truck driver recommends Ode, says they are AAA approved/recommended. These guys were very nice to my mother who can get very anxious in these situations, even arranged a ride home for her. They checked the car out, explained the problem, fixed it in a timely manner, and were just very patient and accommodating. read more

Took car in for oil change, started having electrical problems, over charged for repair, then broke right turn signal spring when putting steering column back together and wanted to charge us $130 to repair. Only offered to repair for free when threatened to call attorney general. Don't go here if you want to keep your car running. read more

Barely got our car to their location which was about a half mile up the road. We were at their mercy pretty much the day before the 4th. Dropped off around 2pm hoping to hear back within an hour or two about the issue...4 hours later (right before they closed)..as we wasted our whole day waiting to hear of what to do next...they called to say they needed to keep it until the next business day (2 days later). I don't appreciate when car places blow smoke up your a** about why they do the stupid stuff they do?! But, 4 hours to charge a battery so you can figure out what is wrong with a car is unbelievable and honestly a really pathetic excuse for keeping a person waiting without a car. I guess the best part is they actually had it done promptly 'the next business day' and without gouging us on the price too much, well maybe just a bit...$150 for labor on a job that should take 1/2hr...must have been that battery charging ordeal. I think we still could have gotten it done cheaper but, again, we were at their mercy because the car only made it up the road. Additionally, is it normal to get a car back with any 'check engine' or whatnot lights on?? One would think this would be addressed and/or simply reset upon completion of work. It's quite possible the fact that the car shut down set off random sensors. The lady told me they didn't check that issue because the car came in with that light on...well no crap...the car died upon drop off. What in the utter hell?? read more

When you read the review of how Larry believes in customer service and doing what's right you would think this was the best place in the world! But the son Darin customer service isn't all that great. I needed my strut compressed and it was under warranty. However my mechanic worked on the control arm (which doesn't mess with the strut at all) and the strut fell apart because of a bolt... so they said the warranty was void. Now don't get me wrong he did swap out the strut since it was warrantied (but I mean he should've right when my girl and I have spent almost $1500 there for car work) anyways he still charged me for a runner part and to compress the strut. So I said I have points on our rewards card, and this guy Darin tells me "oh we did you a favor so we have to get cash and you can't use your points for this because I have to pay the mechanic." And I'm like dude what the fuck?! Smh... so basically he tripped off $49 that I had in points when we've spent good money there over the years. Now that's what you call horrible customer service. Now don't get me wrong there's a few good people there, Paul, Janine, and Nick... but they don't matter when the owner/co-owner has horrible customer service. Can't wait to spend up this $56 in points and we'll never come there again. read more

I brought my vehicle in to Ode for repairs, explained to Paul what I wanted fixed, told him I have a oil leak, trans leak, broken motor mount and possible a broken trans mount. Paul advised me to get a vehicle inspection done to check everything out and see if there is anything I missed. I was called the next day and told that the trans mount was good and that the lines for the oil and trans were leaking and the motor mount was gonna be replaced. When I went to pick up my vehicle I asked if it was one or both trans lines that were leaking. I was then told that the tech was not informed to look for a trans leak even though that was one of my main problems of why I was there in the first place and he didn't even look during the inspection because he was too lazy to remove the skid plate and do his job properly. The owner then tells me that I must have miscommunicated to Paul and that's why his tech didn't look for the trans leak. I asked what was the point of the inspection. when I returned home I looked under my truck and can clearly see trans fluid all over the trans and transfer case and all the rubber on the trans mount is destroyed. Their mark up on parts is unethical to say the least, its over 200%. They get their parts from napa, I can buy the same part and normal retail price for $24.95, they charged me $56.69 and they get the part at wholesale for about $8 you do the math on that. They will tell you that it is for warranty reasons but that is not true, when you have a account with a auto parts store and a part fails that have labor involved, you submit a claim and the auto part store pay the warranty claim, that is one of the reasons that book time also list warranty time. I managed a shop for 15 years and this is not a way to run a business. They scam hard working honest people so that they can keep their pockets full. their prices are through the roof and they don't even do a complete job. Go to the dealer it will be cheaper, the dealer doesn't have that kind of markup on parts. I will never return to Ode for anything. I wonder how you people sleep at night knowing that you are scamming your neighbors. read more
